Reasonably priced & simple to use, to know the actual temperature. My $$$ new oven doesn't show actual temperature, just the temperature you set. Having this simple hanging/standing thermometer is the perfect way to make sure the oven reaches at the temperature you've set .. and stays there!

This is a wonderful thermometer for the oven and it is a must buy because it is accurate. I moved into this little house as part of my job attached to the office that I work in and I did not want to burn anything so I bought this thermometer and it is accurate. It is easy to use and it's an excellent value for the money

Nice large easy to read dial, hook to hang is good sized and should fit most oven racks. Reacts quickly, but this is not an insta-read item The base/foot on the other hand is a little small and wide spacing of the bars on the oven rack/grate may be an issue (was for me). Accuracy is a guess, no way to really check. New oven seemed too low, this thermometer said it was 15 degrees too low, reset oven to compensate and baked items are now done on time. Oven and thermometer match at all temps used, so I guess it's at least linearly accurate. I happy with it.

Easy to use, seems to be accurate and because it hangs on the wire shelf it is out of the way.

The low end GE gas ovens have an adjustable thermostat but 2 of the ovens I ordered (and sent back) could not be adjusted to 350 degrees. I used my sister's oven thermometer, and bought this one as well, in case hers wasn't working. They showed slightly different temps, but accurate enough for me to keep the 3rd stove I purchased. Worth it!

I received the thermometer and was excited to use it as I do a lot of baking during the holidays.The first time I used it, it seemed to work fine. After that the temperatures the thermometer registered were either very high or very low when compared to the temperature at which the oven was set. My baked goods seemed to come out fine so I can't decide if the thermometer is working as it should or not.

Easy to read and the hanger swivels for easy positioning. Great purchase.
