Are they cheaply made? Yes, have you looked at the price. Nice for my bedside tables, love the swing arm. Work well.

Nice decorative, not enough light
Like this lamps a lot, nice for decoration, the light is not even close to be enough for reading, need better bulbs.

Really nice table lamp. Not real bright but you could buy another brighter bulb for it. The hood does not get hot on mine.
Yes I love this light. I have it in my office so I can quickly see what I have in file holders. I think the light is a little dim for intense reading but it works just right for my purposes and it is very attractive. I suppose you could buy a brighter bulb for it if you wanted to use it for a reading light or direct light on your desk where you read a lot. If you had a brighter bulb the metal hood probably would get hot but the hood on my light never gets hot, so my bulb they put in this light is dimmer. I like the soft ambient light it puts out and leave it on as a dim light in my office at night so it isn't a dark room to walk in. So remember if you get one with a dimmer bulb in it you can always order a brighter bulb for it.

not that great product light is not as bright for reading the mobility of the arm is limited. also the end caps are coming out didn't stay on place.

Excellent Overall
Similar to the experience of some other reviewers, the product arrived with a few blemishes and very minor damage. However, all are very difficult to notice and the generous compliments it attracts more than make up for it. Very sharp-looking in person and you absolutely cannot beat the price for such a lamp!

Just a light lite.
Nice lamp. Base should have a little more weight ti it. You have to hold the base to adjust the adjustable top. Top is very thin aluminum. Feels almost plastic. But over all look is nice.

Excellent Choice!
Excellent choice for restricted desk space. The adjustable arm makes it easy to position the light where you need it, and the bulb is quite adequate for desk top work. Good choice!

Gorgeous and works great as a reading lamp ... best on market for the price
Gorgeous, classic style. Works great. Halogen though, so it gets very hot. Other than the heat (which is not an issue for me) this lamp is stupendous. i love it.
