SkagenMen's Ancher Stainless Steel and Mesh Quartz Watch

I bought this a few months ago and have worn it every day since. I used to have a smartwatch, but the charger broke and it is a brand specific charger that is unable to be replaced.I liked the minimal style of this and in person it looks just as good. It's probably a medium sized face. But it's very thin. It took a while to try used to where the knob on the side is but it's not that big a deal. The style can be worn with button up shirts or t-shirts and jeans, it's a "timeless" looking watch. I was looking for a Scandinavian style minimalist watch; the other ones I looked at were 4x the price and probably would be too fancy for casual use.In other watches I've had like this the "leather" band always gets smelly and falls apart. This one shows no signs of wear and no smell. I do NOT let it get in the shower or work out with it on. I try not to even do the dishes with it on as I'd rather buy a new watch than to through the band replacement process.It is super easy to read as well. I set it once months ago and it's still accurate. My only complaint is that it is not a smartwatch, but smartwatches have their cons.

The media could not be loaded. I love this watch—it is exactly the design and quality I wanted and expected of Skagen. I’ve worn it for about 3 months now, and I take it off religiously every time I shower. The clasp has not gotten noticeably weaker, which is great because I was worried about its longevity considering I take it off and on twice a day. The glass screen does have some scratches from minor dings, which is a bummer, and maybe the glass is not as hard as I thought, but that also could be my own fault. I have no complaints about this watch, really. Every time I look at it, it makes me smile. What a wonderful product.

It is a classic watch that I get complemented on at least once or twice a month. It keeps time accurately and seems to be holding together well over the past couple months that I have been wearing it. Definitely beautiful affordable time piece that I enjoy wearing on a daily basis. I have got caught in the rain a few times and left it on while doing the dishes and it didn't immediately quit, so that is a good sign that it is durable. I am generally pretty rough on watches and it doesn't seem to have accumulated any scratches. My only problem initially is that the edge of the bezel seemed to be sharp on my chunkier wrist, but I have since gotten used to it and it seems to have worn down a bit.It has a very nice simple design and I am very happy with it.

Ordered one and it did not work, so I ordered a replacement and it also didn't function. I called the manufacturer and the rep actually told me that I should probably order a different model elsewhere.It is a smart looking watch, but it you want it to actually work...save your time!

I love this watch. It's just the right size and it's easy to read the time, and easy enough to read the date. I love the profile of the watch. So much better than the enormous hunks of metal that most places try to sell as a wristwatch. I do wish that it had an "Indiglo" light feature. And I also wish that I could find a watch like this with a different sort of strap. The way it's made means that to change the strap, I'd have to buy one specially made for this watch, rather than using the nylon straps I've collected over the years for other watches.Overall, it's as good as it looks online. It won't be my last watch, but I'll wear it till I find the absolute perfect one!

Solid not flashy watch. Easy to read, as the hour, minute and second hands have good contrast to the face and the numerals are clear as a bell. Seems to keep good time, which is after all what a watch is for. Note however, that, the leather band is neither as dark or red as it looks in the photo at least not to me. For those familiar with Munsell color notation, the photo band looks close to strong brown (7.5YR 4/6) while in person it seems closer to yellowish brown (10YR 5/6) or even brownish yellow (10YR 6/6), nothing worth deducting a full star over.Update 24 August 2017: I have t eat my words, fortunately, they are not too bad with a little hot sauce. I wore my watch to work today, and because I have a Munsell soil color chart, I compared the band to the 10YR and 7.5 YR pages, and to my surprise the color came out almost exactly strong brown (7.5YR 4/6) more or less as it looks in the photo. Now, where's that hot sauce?

I needed a new watch. I bought an Apple Watch and really, really didn't like it. This is my new analog watch! It looks great, it's very light, it doesn't have to be charged nightly, it doesn't let everyone I meet know that I'm a slave to my phone, I could go on.But yeah, the Skagen: I saw a similar watch on a friend. I guess Skagen is known for their low profile watches. My friend's watch lies flatter on his arm than this one does, but that's ok. This is still pretty flat. The minimalist design of this watch is very attractive. I think it makes it look much more expensive than it actually is. The date is tiny which I like---but I also have excellent vision. The crown can be a little difficult. I wish it had the indents of a standard crown rather than the perfectly smooth crown. So it's a little tricky to move around. But once it's set this watch is perfecto. If I need another style watch, maybe a brown watch, I'll probably buy Skagen again.

I am very happy with this watch. It is very slim and beautiful. The seconds line up perfectially. The crown is a bit small to work with but it fits to the size of the watch. The leather wristbad is comfortable. I would buy the watch again. I can't speak to the longer term usage as I just received the watch but will update my review if something unexpected comes up.

Excelente reloj. Se siente muy bien en la muñeca, no pesa demasiado y su tamaño es discreto. Justo lo que buscaba, un reloj serio y elegante, pero no demasiado llamativo. Las correas son de cuero, con una gran sensación al tacto, su color me agradó bastante.Por sus colores y materiales puede usarse tanto con ropa casual o de vestir.
