I live in Arizona and fight dry skin. This lotion is excellent for using after every shower. The smell is soft and not overpowering and smells like citrus. I was happy to find a lotion that was economical and not too greasy and cheap feeling.

I got tired of buying a new bottle at target for $15 every few months, so I went ahead and just got this gallon for $25 and a pack of pumps to make it easy to use. BEST IDEA EVER. I purchased 3/12/23 and it is 8/15/24 when I am writing this review and I still have about a quarter or maybe a third of the bottle! It doesn’t expire until 1/2025. It has a light scent and is a great quality lotion. I don’t feel like I am missing the other lotions and my skin is happy. I use it every other day if not more, so I am stoked about how long it’s lasted and how much money this has saved me!

I am a licensed esthetician. Despite this, I use the most cost effective products on my own skin because no one has $40 to spend on expensive facial serums. I also have eczema which causes atopic dermatitis on my hands, so washing them so often leaves them dry and painful.After experimenting with different moisturizers, I settled on using Dermasil-branded lotion and had to buy new bottles of it every week. Then I thought to myself, "Can I find body lotion for cheaper online?"The answer is yes. I did the math, and the bottle of lotion I was using costed roughly 50% more per oz. So initially, this was the most cost effective solution I could find.I ordered a gallon of lotion from another brand before this one, and I have to say that the Ginger Lily lotion is far better quality. It's thick but doesn't leave a residue on the skin like Dermasil or coconut oil might, and it doesn't sting even in spots where my skin has split from eczema. When I use it, the cracking I tend to get on my heels clears right up, which saves time on having to do foot soaks or exfoliating treatments.If anyone is wondering how the lotion smells, it's fruity with heavy citrus notes. The consistency isn't what I would consider watery, and the fragrance doesn't fade too quickly. I use it in place of perfume.No one at my house purchases their own lotion anymore because they always ask to borrow mine now. This includes my mother who is very particular about fragrance and only used a particular lotion that got discontinued.It is shipped in a standard box with no padding, though I have never received a bottle that leaked or was open. The only downside is that the bottle does not come with a pump, so you'll have to squeeze it into smaller containers or do what I do and just pour it straight from the gallon.This product is my go-to when it comes to purchasing body lotion. If this brand released more fruit fragrances, I would definitely be interested.

Very good quality product. Not greasy but smooth as butter. Smells wonderful but so powerful that it offends. My only complaint is that it is so thick it must be diluted or it will clog up a dispenser.

I needed a nice lotion that I could refill my lotion dispensers with. It could not be too thick so it would pour into the container. This lotion is perfect. The smell is fabulous, it is not greasy, and feels great on my skin. I will definitely be ordering more when this runs out.

I use this In my ceramic studio for my students and they love the smell it leaves your skin really soft and moisturize and it’s not too thick, but it does smell really good.

Great value, one gallon should be an efficient amount for two little old ladies "Like" me & my Mother, it'll probably outlast us.

Worth the price but to watery dries quickly can use some oils and for a thicker texter.
