Not precision indexed, TOTAL LACK OF INSTRUCTIONS, waste hours.
So, for the price, I was excited to hopefully get a good quality fletching jig for the price. It arrived with literally no instructions at all. I'm a gunsmith and a detail reloader, so I was up for a challenge. First, I called the company asking for instructions. They emailed me a document which clearly DID NOT apply to this model or jig in any way. I called them back, and then they finally said the instructions are in the work and would be hopefully created soon (it's been nearly 7 months and still no bones). I just started tinkering with it and figured out the knob adjustment actually did allow for both a 3 fletch (120 degrees) and a 4 fletch (90 degrees), but the internal indents are completely off. Meaning the intent to match these was not successful on their internal grooves cut into the aluminum. Also, they should have used some sort of oil in the spring / groove internally. I finally just started making my own marking on the knob, sides, etc and had to completely break it down and re-assemble it after correcting many issues. For someone afraid to do this, I would assume they'd just return it. After I finished this all it works okay I guess for the money and it being metal, but it takes so much individual adjustment to get it right for every arrow I'd rather go with another jig.

Complete, total, utter GARBAGE
Lousy engineering (in the broadest possible sense of the word), inadequate instructions, poor excuse for workmanship. Head squeals like a barn door while rotating. Indexing notches are a lie: head either rotates freely (again, with barn door noises) or jams completely; no indexing marks were observed, either. Allen wrench is missing for one screw. Stainless steel construction is likewise a lie: metal appears to be the cheapest type of aluminum alloy the sorry excuse for manufacturer was able to obtain. I want a refund and a compensation for wasted time. Avoid, avoid, AVOID!

Arrived assembled wrong, no instructions included
OK, it arrived with a key component (piece that aligns the nock) installed backwards from the factory. When disassembling to correct it, two springs and two ball bearings fell out. No instructions included. If I knew the springs and bearings would fall out I could have anticipated it. Took an hour to find the ball bearings. Once I did I was able to figure out how to assemble properly. Now with it assembled correctly I can see will work well. Decent contruction. If it has instructions, or a diagram, or was assembled properly I would have given it 5 stars. Such as it is, with no quality control to check for proper assembly, and with no instructions, it turned into an unnecessarily frustrating experience.

Good product.
I had never tried to refletch arrows before, but this jig makes it easy. I had a bit of trouble getting it set up, (no instructions included... hint, hint Livabit. Would've been 5 stars), but with the help of some nice folks from Amazon's customer base, the process was incredibly easy,(Thanks to all for the help.) Turns out really nice arrows.

You can figure it out! Works great and is cheap!
This thing is cool, saved a lot of money. Perhaps it’s not the most user friendly thing in the world but with a bit of tinkering you can figure it out. I had to loosen one of the screws near the bottom and turn the thing that the arrow nock fits onto so it was aligned with the clip thing... then tightened it back up. Sorry I don’t know if these parts have names. You can then turn it and it clicks in every position you’d need.

Awesome Clamp!
Absolutely awesome product. Save your money and don’t buy a plastic piece of junk. Shipping was a little slow but the quality and adjustability is perfect!

i think this is a great value product
i think this is a great value product, the spin wheel for the fletch placement isnt that nice, the magnets that hold the fletch jig to the base are a little too strong also.
