Best book to understand the roots of the three religions Christanity, Islam and Judaism.

Good book for learning crusades and how church destroyed the many parts of the world
The book mainly tells us that the Crusades have been the trigger for the problems in the Middle-East. Fundamentally, the Crusades were *Anti-Muslim* & incidentally *Anti-Jews* as well. Soon it became Frankenstein Monster and turned *Anti-Christain* too. The brunt of Crusades was faced by *Indian American Natives* also. Christopher Columbus was a Crusader and so was Napoleon (though a mild one). Crusading later shaped into Imperialism in 19th Century. As regards Jerusalem, it's holy for all the three faiths but *Only Muslims* have been accomodative of other two faiths !

Mesmerizing...
Indeed a great book about the history of religion and cause of wars. It's so mesmerizing to read.

Exhausted
Seems dragged after midway. Only those with special concern to middle East can keep up interest.

More opinion than a genuine look at History of crusades
Just a liberlist rant against the church by an ex-nun in the guise of a critique of the crusades
