Mister Max Original Scent Anti Icky Poo Odor Remover, Gallon Size

I came across this product by accident when I went to clean out a non-paying tenant.I ended up using this product ever since then as this product not only does at it says, it also works well in the laundry (removing odors and stains on dog beds and other material that pee is/was on.The solution has no bad odors, it removes all stickiness commonly found with dog micturition, and apparently removes and discernible taste or smell, as my dogs will not attempt to re-mark the same area/material once treated.The value for the money is impressive, as this is concentrate, so a little goes a long way - but in my defense I tend to go hot an heavy on the concentration to water ratio. The bottle has a clear listing on how to mix/ration the amount to water.The bottle appears flimsy, but the lid does seal well, and I have yet to have a problem with spills or leaks.I use this product often, as my dogs, and the rescues I take in are always vying for my attention, and a great place to lift their leg and soil my property.I plan on using this product, I find that it does a better job than the more common household names, that purport the same efficacy.

My cat peed on my guest bedroom mattress in two spots, and NOTHING was making a dent. I poured this stuff on the dried yellow stains and oddly, the next day the 6 inch diameter pee stains were now 20 inch yellow rings, with nothing in the middle where the pee spots were. It pushed the pee outwards basically. The yellow did still smell. I grabbed my carpet shampooer ($50 off Craigslist), and used the handheld device to clean off the yellow rings. Smells and looks 100% fine now. I have used my carpet shampooer on cat pee stains before with almost 0 luck, so I think this product worked to release the stain, then you just have to suck it out. If you have a shop vac that can suck up liquid that would probably work fine as well.

Worked great. It took the smell out of the wood floors. Some were saturated with cat pee from previous tenant. I put in a spray bottle, sprayed and let it soak in. It took the smell out.

This stuff is pretty great if you follow the instructions. It's not cheap, but if you want to make sure the ammonia smell doesn't take hold in your carpet, this stuff is fantastic.I actually ended up using this on both an old urine spot and a new one. The new ones I got to right away, but they still left a bit of a stain on the carpet. The smell however was completely taken away. As soon as you pour this on the carpet the smell begins to improve. It helps a lot if you use the method of "injecting" it into the carpet to get below the surface. I did not purchase a carpet syringe from them but instead just used a needleless syringe I had lying around. It possibly wasn't AS effective as a carpet syringe from this company, but it got the job done.Seeing as how I applied this product (following the directions) on a fresh spot (no yellowing had taken place yet), I sort of thought it would help prevent staining but it did not, so I took off 1 star for that.On the old stain, I had to put down a couple applications but in the end, the smell did improve. The stain did not. I was not expecting stain removal from this product on an older stain though so that was okay. This was a favorite urinating spot for one of my cats for probably a couple years. Only recently did she stop going there. Because she finally stopped going there, I decided to really make a concerted effort to get ALL the smell out and this stuff did great. The smell would get out of control when the house was warmer, and now we don't even notice it. I still have a little work to do on it, as you can still smell it a little if you put your nose close to the carpet, but it is vastly improved. I think I just need to get the product to the padding underneath the carpet and we'll be good.Overall, I'd highly recommend this product. It works on old odors and new, and does a great job of it. It works far better than anything else I've ever tried on old urine odors. Just don't expect any stain removal/prevention properties from this. I will eventually probably try their special stain removal product, considering how happy I am with this in terms of odor removal.
