Well nothing wrong with the Marine Band Harmonica. Loud and great tone. But if you are a newbie my advice would be is to buy a special 20 because it has a plastic comb. Marine Band has a wooden comb (means good not bad), you can spoil it. After you master tough slapping and bending nothing puts you from using the Marine Band...The greatest of mouth organs for blues...Well some say the Marine Band Crossover but I am okay with that too

Its really a fantastic instrument to possess by any harmonica lover. Extremely easy to play, the sound is clean and sharp. But (as per tradition) the edges are a bit sharp an the covers (again as per tradition) are nailed to the comb. Undoubtedly one of the most famous harmonica model.

Haha... this is a beautiful sounding instrument. I laughed because I did not expect the sound to be neat. This is the right harmonica that beginners should invest in. You’ll love it. Helps you enjoy the process even more for the ease of blow and pull with that melodious sound. The price can be intimidating though

Beautiful piece with a beautiful tone, volume is also good but classic nail design will be incovenient for cleaning purposes..sometimes wood comb also leaves a woody taste in the mouth while playing draw notes...but may be that will change as the piece get played more and more...

You'll love it from day one and you'll be surprised by how good it sounds which makes the learning interesting every day. you'll be more engaged with this instrument for sure

This blues harp is matchless by its quality and by its superior sound. Go for it .... Amazon was just great. They delivered the product one day prior. I was looking for a Suzuki Manji or A Seydel as well, but unfortunately Amazon.in doesn't sale them. i would really be happy if i could buy them here in India through Amazon.

When I first hold this instrument, it was seemed to be a toy for its small appearance but while i put it in my lips the instrument responded something beyond my expectations. Its sound was very sweet. The chord sound is the most beautiful one of this thing. Moreover, it's bends are easy and one can pop up some Overblows also right out of the box and the octave sounds are also very good. As a whole, it is one of the best harp to me (mainly for blues).

Sie überzeugt durch eine stabile Verarbeitung und einen warmen, vollen Klang. Besonders positiv ist der einfache Spielkomfort. Die Töne lassen sich leicht anblasen, und die Mundharmonika liegt gut in der Hand. Ein kleiner Kritikpunkt wäre die etwas simplere Optik, die nicht jedem gefallen könnte. Ich vergebe 5 von 5 Sternen. Sie ist einfach zu spielen und bietet eine tolle Klangqualität zu einem fairen Preis.

Great Harmonica. Pretty, great sound. but... Came in a box not sealed... very weird anyone could have touched it. Have sharp edges, that I have never seen even on cheap Chinese ones. This is a recurrent complaint. O am not sure why the company doesn't fix it.

it arived on day it said it would and arived in A1 shape no marks or dings and all notes play A1 . i fine the m.b 1896 an awsome harp verry conferble too play and feels relly good in mounth and verry easy too play and has awsome sound herd lot of ppl say they have problem with it catching ther mustash well for me this is not so i have verry long berd and mustash and have nt pull it at all and no swelling of wood eaither i played on it for hours and got wood relly soaked and did nt swell at all i have gotten two of thease now and no problems with any of them i have sp20 too but i like thease one better then the sp20 this m.b 1896 be good for beginner or any stage of player right up too pro this is top of the line harp i think but that just my apinion if ur debating about what too get grab this one give it try see how u like it cause no one can speak for anyone else u have too try difert things for urself too see what u like or dont like but far as this harp it self its made and performs top notch and plays easy and smoothly

Bhé che dire, ottima in tutto per tutto, suona bene, confezione intatta, peccato non ci sia un panno in velluto come spesso si trovano nelle confezioni delle armoniche, le note suonano senza metter troppa forza la differenzia dalle armoniche che vengono pagate pochissimo, ve la consiglio vivamente, è in do e se ci sapete fare con il Bending da tante soddisfazioni.
