KEENKootenay Winter Boot (Toddler/Little Kid/Big Kid),1 Little Kid

I have never purchased Keen shoes before but had seen so many kids wearing them. I decided to try these out for this fall and so far, I'm very happy. They have been a bit stiff and hard to get on, other reviews state the same thing and that it did "break in" after a bit. I love that these keep his feet dry and warm on wet days. They look cute with any pants and seem like they will hold up very well. The first day my son wore them was the day after hurricane Sandy hit our area leaving the ground wet and soggy. He had dry feet and didn't need to wear his rain boots that are so hard to run and play in. To me, a well made shoe that is easy to wear and easy to play in is worth the price.

These have been my go to walking baby/toddler winter shoe for years. They are amazing for being outside playing, hiking, or adventuring. They are especially good for new walkers who need a hardy shoe, but aren’t super sturdy yet on their feet. The outside is easy to clean, and they keep their feet dry in rain, ice, and snow. They also keep their feet super warm. They are easy to get on and off. If they aren’t easy to get on your child’s foot then they need to size up. One of my kids went through 3 sizes in one winter. Definitely worth the money investment compared to other toddler winter shoes.

My 6 year old needed a warm water resistant boot for getting to school on cold rainy or snowy days that he could comfortably wear all day. He is very picky about how his footwear feels. We tried to other brands of ankle boots before this one and they were both not comfortable for him. As soon as i slipped these on his feet he said these are good and proceeded to run around the house in them. He loves them. They kept his feet warm and dry in the last 2 days of bad weather. He is between a size 13 and 1/2 and a 1 so we got the one and it fits well. I think the toe area is a bit wide looking, but it hasnt affected the fit..he has thin feet. We have the pine cone color..it is a nice neutral that goes with all his jeans and pants. They are extremely flexible and have good tread on the soles. I can see them holding up well over the winter and all through the cool and rainy spring weather.

I chose these boots because I thought they would be easy for my son to put on and take off while wearing gloves. They are perfect. No taking your gloves off to tie laces! I knew keen was a very durable brand from the sandals we have purchased and these boots have the same high quality. The big rubber bumper on the front is also great because often our leather boots would end up scuffed on the front and looking pretty ragged. Initially, I thought the price was a little high for something he may not wear often, but they are such high quality that I now think they are a steal!. And they are the only shoes he wants to wear, so I will definitely get my money's worth! That tells me that they be comfortable. I knew from other keens we have purchased, that they tend to run a little small. I ordered a half size large & that was perfect. I shopped for 2 weeks before purchasing these boots so I know what is out there & I think we made a good choice. I would highly recommend them.

LOVE these boots I bought for my 10-year old son. He has a really hard foot to fit, it's wide with a very high instep. He typically can't even get his foot in a pair of Keen sandals, but the way these work across the top, his foot easily fits in and he's off! They are much more stylish than clomping around in Sorrels at school and church and the grocery store. We live in Minnesota so we need good boots! We bought the size 4. I even wonder if I, (his mom) would like a pair.Only negative is that if you are in a cold area with a lot of snow, I still think you would need a taller pair of boots like Sorrels or the like, if you do a lot of outdoor play and wear snow pants. These are a little low, and snow gets in.

These shoes are amazing quality! You definitely get what you pay for; they are worth the investment. I have three boys and they are all very hard on shoes and go through them like crazy (we have tried so many different name brands and off brands; seriously soooo many). These have held up amazing after two months of DAILY use both at school and home and not a single sign of wear anywhere on the toes (which is the first place my kids wear holes in their shoes and my biggest concern). I got these for my 6 year old who is by far the worst at wearing holes in the toes of his shoes, and after only a couple weeks of owning a new pair he has holes in the toes or the rubber is completely worn down and he is pretty darn close to getting one. My kids normally wear sneakers 24/7 but I got these boots to try first since it was cold here, and a friend recommended them, to see how they held up. Honestly, this is probably the first pair of shoes since the baby stages that I’ll actually be able to pass down shoes and reuse then for younger brother in a couple years - which is a big deal! I will for sure be getting him a pair of sneakers for the spring and probably another pair for my 3 year old.

I have bought these boots for both my kiddos. We are outside a lot playing, hiking, climbing on rocks, in the snow or just plain cold weather. This boot has been wonderful for both kids. The boot comes just above their ankle bone but is super soft and leather is very flexible so it does not cut in or hurt them. Very easy to get on and warm. They love them! and so do I.One thing I have found with them is the arch support is lacking. I have added leather insoles for both kids- which they say make them more comfortable. I have looked all over for kids orthotics, and found the leather ones from Healthy Feet Store, brand is Pedag. They are from Germany and are wonderful. There is another brand for kids, KidZerts and they suck. They are flimsy foam and too narrow of a heel pocket.So whether or not you add insoles, the shoes are amazing!!!

My rough and tumble toddler loves his Keens. They are puddle stomping proof and warm. They are also very easy to put on. They have very sturdy and grippy soles. They have held up so well they will be passed on to my younger son next.

キーンの靴はすこし小さめにできてるような気がします。ブーツになれば、中に厚手の靴下も履きますし、やや大きめで買ってみるほうがいいかもしれない。キーンのブーツはかっこいいです。

leicht funktional, schön leicht und auch schönes fußbett - kinder werden nicht irgendwo hineingequetscht sondern können sich frei bewegen - und passt zu vielem

Schade, der Schuh sieht super aus und hat eine gute Qualität (Leder). Doch es passt nur schmale Kinderfüße durch die Öffnung. Mit etwas dickerem Fuß kommt man gar nicht richtig rein.
