Ordered two sets of this. They came in on time and in perfect condition. I was a bit confused when they came in, didn't know I was going to have to assemble them myself but it turned out to be easy and fun. This is very solid, I will update my review as soon as I have used them

The ULTIMATE soap cutter for loafs of melt and pour soap !!!
FINALLY !!!! This is Perfect. I've tried everything -- everything short of a hammer and chisel, to neatly slice my soap when using melt and pour and nothing really worked -- and the more fatigued I would become, the more lopsided my soap slices would become. I had tried everything, for years! You do not have this same hardening issue with the cold/hot lye soap method, because when the cutting is done, the lye soap is still soft and curing. Anyway, I bought this product to hopefully tackle the cutting issues, and I got more than I bargained for. I think the 'vacuum lock' which is mentioned relative to the cold/hot processed soap, has an opposite effect (amazing) with the melt and pour soap, in that hardened melt and pour loaf gets 'vacuumed locked' inside the cutting mold and cannot swish around like I'm used to it doing in the stainless steel mitre soap cutters. PLUS, I did NOT have to make my liner with freezer paper !!!!! This product is so wonderful that I stopped to write this review and snap a photo before I've even wrapped my bars. So pleased: thank you !!! P.S. The YOUTUBE video instructions were excellent.

good solid construction but definitely needs to be lined. Tried it once without lining it and it was a tour de force to get the soap out. I did notice some shrinking with some formulas that makes the top side of the bar distorted unless shaved. Otherwise a good mold and allows cutting of pretty uniform bars.
