This works with the Summer Infant Modern Home Decorative Walk Thru Baby Gate, 28-42 Inch Wide which I purchased on Amazon. Been trying to figure out for awhile how to get a baby gate on the stairs without damaging the bannister. This worked perfectly. The gate is very secure, no worries about it falling on my 18 month old. Was concerned about it fitting because the gate gave no description of the bolt size, but it fits fine.

its good if we have square bases on both sides of the banister....its not a excellent fit if we have round head banister....they have given an extra part to support round head banisters but thats not perfect...

My husband thankfully had access to a tap to modify the gate so that the adapter would screw in. It works like a gem now, but it wasn’t as easy as one might think initially.

Has issues getting it in any of my gates. It’s a hair too big and hard to screw in place. Also was wanly and did not land very sturdy against the rail. I used it for a day and it’s sitting in a box in my garage now. I should have returned it
