perfect for polishing granite tile
I used this, in addition to diamond polishing pads, for polishing the ends of granite tile for a kitchen countertop. It worked perfectly and the granite tile "polished ends" match up with the factory-polished ends very well. Nice for adding a bit of a bevel to your tile also. Finding a "variable-speed angle grinder" was harder (small town here) and you will need one of those for a job like this.

good quality
used them to polish my concrete counter top. Worked very well and durable. My best result was when I used the 1500 and 3000 with out water.

4" DAMO simi-rigid flexible back holder
It works fine but you have to be careful taking off the sanding disk or it will start pulling off the velcro pad, even only running the tool at only about 3500 rpm or less. It screws on and off very easily, I like it.
