I was thinking how the heck am I going to know if these are real or not!?* VERIFY AUTHENTICITY TAKES 2 SECONDS *So some very quick and basic tips to checking if the pearls are real or fake in two simple steps.1 - Rub them together it should feel like a grinding gritty feeling like rubbing sand paper together if they are real pearls.2 - Rub them against your teeth or bite them softly if they feel like glass on the surface of your teeth, then they are indeed fake.3 - Still have doubts? take it to a pearl expert NOT A COMMON JEWELER, most times they wont know for sure because of how many different ways a pearl can be cultivated.* TYPES OF PEARLS ( 3 Most Popular ) There are 3 main different types of pearls which determine rarity and value.Rarity Level ( Descending Order 1 being the Rarest )1. My daughter loves pearls. These are a beautiful quality stud Pearl in a great everyday size. Color is gorgeous.

Very pretty but one of the reasons I ordered this pair vs others is the backing piece. The one in the pictures is a comfortable back. But what came was basic backs that aren’t comfortable and would like fall out and I’d loose an earring. I asked the company to send the right one but they told me to contact Amazon and send them back. They’re very pretty, I don’t want to send them back so I’ve now ordered other backs. But I’m frustrated that it wasn’t what I ordered.

My friend always wanted a pair of real pearls

I ordered the 7mm based on photos but they are smaller than what I was hoping for and I'm not fond of the plastic earring backs; makes them seem cheap. I'll likely be sending them back.

The earrings are exactly as pictured and truly lovely. What is not so lovely is the boxes they came in which had a terrible chemical odor that still has not gone away. There is no way I can keep the earrings in that box, disappointed. Good value for the money.
