Joe Bonamassa Legendary Licks - An Inside Look at the Guitar Style of Joe Bonamassa (Book/Online Audio) (Guitar Legendary Licks)

Book was in great shape. The companion CD however had a large crack in it making it unplayable. Delivery time was good. Didn't bother returning because the price was still fair for just the book but I was disappointed not to have disk to hear the example guitar tracks.

Just started into this book so haven't finished playing thru it yet. But I will give you my first impression based on what I have completed thus far. The tablature seams accurate so far to the CD that comes with it. The coaching between sections does add value and helped with the learning curve. I especially like the coaching. This book is not for "method" beginners. Although by going through the tabs one could mimic what is happening on each track. I would recommend this book for those who are learning fretboard theory (ie Major scale, Minor scale, Pentatonic Scales,and Blues scales, modals) this book would make a great addition to your lesson plan. With this book you can see these scales applied masterfully. It does not have play thru songs like a play along book might. This book breaks up songs into smaller sections and gives tips on things like hand postioning, techique etc. So far I am enjoying this book.

I love this book and its downloadable files that accompany the TABs. It will certainly help you learn Joe's licks. Go for it!

Joe Bonamassa is at the apex of blues guitar as we know it today. I figure any ounce of that knowledge is something I would hope to acquire for myself. This book is presented in a easy to follow "building block" format. Thus, allowing the guitarist glean bits and pieces.

Excellent Book, very well done...

Its going to take some real practice. His book is for a more advanced player. tough to follow. I love this guy and would great to play like him.

My son received it for Christmas and says it is hard to find. It is an excellent book for guitarists who want to learn Joe Bonamassa's style.

Great songbook full of songs by Joe Bona.It's great.Surely for fans of Joe a good possibility to get more into technical part of his music.

Il problema è se hai voglia di passare ore a suonare delle cose che ti faranno crescere come chitarrista, ma non farai mai bene come l'originale. A voi tutti la scelta.

Per chi vuole approfondire tecnica e stile di Joe bonamassa, libro che illustra i licks di alcune delle canzoni più famose, ben fatto, sul sito si trovano i singoli pezzi da ascoltare e salvare. Consigliatissimo
