This is a great little Guira to keep in your percussive arsenal. It's great when you are playing with a small band to add that traditional Cumbia sound. I wish that the handle was much stronger but again it's a budget instrument. There is a high tinny sound so I would hope that the rim of it would get reinforced to take that high tinny sound. Overall a good practice guira
