Absolutely adorable! 10/10
Wowza! Let me start out by saying that I'm new to miniature-making. This kit is amazing. All of the wooden bits are carefully cut and go together easily and the little details are awesome!Quick tips!- Buy a clear glue stick. The glue in the kit is good for most things, but the flat papers were difficult to do.- Have a box of Q-tips within reach. I can't recommend these enough for cleanup.- Do NOT use an alcohol-based glue. It destroys the finish on the tiny wooden pieces.- Get a tool kit with a knife, snippers, and a real pair of needle nose pliers. Those aren't in the kit and you'll need them. You might also need wire strippers. I didn't have any and had to improvise.- Have a sharp pair of scissors! I used them more than the exacto knife.- I also used a metallic gold marker instead of the tiny gold foils. My hands aren't that steady LOL- Glue all the big wallpaper/wall pieces first. They take a long time to dry.- This is more like a 1:24 scale, not 1:20.So. Construction. I REALLY struggled with a few pieces, but like I said, I'm new to making minis. The umbrella, the paper boxes, and the tie were all hard for me. The wiring was difficult too, but the instructions are great and I got it all figured out. My detective's light flickers sometimes, but eh.I also rearranged all of the bits and skipped the Sherlock Holmes-themed stuff. This kit is definitely NOT for younger ages. Some of the tiny bits need precision. The glue is very sticky and stringy, so watch out for that. I also worked on it over three days and didn't rush anything. I wanted it to look good. This was a great kit for a newbie like me. Overall, I absolutely LOVE this kit. I already ordered Simon's Cafe, and I'll probably be getting another one after that. The Magic Emporium sure is cute... :)

Easy to build
Came with the tools needed (glue, tweezers). Easy instructions and build. I used a lighter for the shrink wrapping on the wiring. This set is very cute, I ended up gluing the loose pieces to the floor, so they don't out. Much of the tinier boxes were easy to build and a lot of the paper things were precut. (The wood is also precut.)I'm very happy with this one, it's very clean and I build it in one afternoon.

Bought this for my wife for christmas and she loves it
Men of the world, we know what we have to do when it comes to Christmas. Get the wife something that she can sink her teeth into, will keep her busy, and have something to show off at the end of it - and I think this satisifies all of that criteria. It's basicially a 3-dimensional jigsaw. It takes a long time to complete, and from what I gather watching my wife work on it, it's complicated. I don't know if I'd recommend it for children but my wife loves it.

Great kit!
Not for beginners.Pros: I've put about six of these kits together and this is the only one that had ALL of the pieces precut, even the paper pieces that you usually have to cut out with scissors. For me that made this one far superior. Colorful, and fun, great quality material.Cons: The worst instructions of any Robotime/Rolife kit that I've ever put together. If you're a beginner these instructions will make you want to quit, lucky for me I've done these kits before so I was able to figure it out.

Loved making this! I'm still new to the hobby, but I made this within nearly two days and I loved it! It was fun and simple! This is my second ever made DIY Miniature House and it was worth it! Wiring was simple and easy, all materials were there, easy to follow instructions, I messed up a little but fixed it, otherwise, it looks good! I had so much fun with this!

Nice little kit but watch You Tube!
This kit took me much longer than I anticipated. The directions, which are pictorial, are hit and miss. Just as I was completing this days long project, I discovered detailed, step by step videos on You Tube. Had I watched it first, I could have completed this in a day or two.I ended up buying two more kits and will follow along with the videos.

PLEASE READ THIS TO SAVE YOURSELF FRUSTRATION!
Straight to the frustration part, then a few more tips and tricks:Please use the included "map" of wooden pieces to make sure you are using the correct piece, and *that it is right side up!* I glued the floor decor paper, and all the completed pieces to the wrong side, and then the floor tabs didn't fit within the top frame slots (see last two pics). I had to Dremel off the tabs and glue that sucker in. I was sure the company just did it wrong, but when I went back to the piece map, I realized I had screwed up. It all worked out in the end!Other than that, it was very challenging, but do-able. Make sure you familiarize yourself with the numbering system on the bags, the piece map, and the instructions. Some tools that helped me: Extra glue, wooden toothpicks, miniature clothespins and small binder clips, a razor blade, fine tip needle nose pliers, scissors designed for paper crafts (really sharp, with a sharp tip), small wire snips, and a big needle or safety pin. Some of the flowers just didn't work for me (especially the roses), so I googled "miniature paper flowers", and got some great tips and ideas, and made a few substitutions. Requires 2 AA batteries. The black decorative edges of the greenhouse frame are just black cardstock, which is *extremely* difficult to fold because of size. You might want to consider some kind of narrow craft tape instead.Overall, this was a fun and challenging project. It took me about 40 hours to complete.

Literally obsessed.
The media could not be loaded. This is my second mini kit and I must say I am obsessed with this one. The first one I did (a different brand) was laser cut and felt very one dimensional. I love that all of the inserts and accessories in this kit are wood or plastic. It’s better quality and looks adorable. The box was delivered on August 12 and I finished assembling by August 25th. How many hours it took, i have no idea. But it was a very joyous time.A few things to note:1. The contents of bag 1 were stuck together. I had to carefully pry apart the pieces with an exacto blade. I was a bit bummed about this at first, as the two wall pieces had reddish brown paint stuck to it so I sanded them down and actually loved that it gave the walls a distressed look.2. My lighting feature does not work :( I followed the instructions carefully and used new batteries but it doesn’t turn on.3. I customized quite a bit.- i opted not to use all of the accessories included in the kit and bought some Halloween minis from Michael’s. I know I Can use the minis I didn’t use, from this kit, down the road on another project so those pieces won’t go to waste.- I played around with the accessories and put them where I wanted, not where the instruction manual told me to- I painted the ceiling and added some cobwebs and spiderwebs- I used craft paper to give more dimension to the roof- I added moss to the exterior panelsI really enjoyed this little kit and look forward to my next one. I would recommended this manufacturer over some others that are available on Amazon as the quality is much better!

pazienza e costanza
