I bought this for my pool so I can clean it on my own. and this works perfectly because it is very long and i also bought myself a pool cleaner that attaches at the end of this hose. definitely worth it. and the price is amazing compared to other stores.

I needed a hose quick so decided to buy this one to stuck up all the dead algae on the j no bottom of my pool. This unit does come with standard size hose fitting of 1-1/2” diameter. Also, the 30ft length did cover entire length of my pool. I was kinda of surprised it reached to both end of my pool. I feel like another 2-3 ft would be perfect so I don’t need to buy two set of hose. There’s isn’t much to install besides clamp on the rod. The hose performed wells and it does float on top of the water when section I don’t need to submerge underwater. It’s is stiff enough to last but not to hard to fold up like a garden hose. Overall only time will tell if the color blue will fade or any rip. I pils definitely recommend.

We replaced our very old segmented hose with this nice one piece hose. It's very sturdy, and works just fine. (The segments are expensive to replace singly, no thanks!) I highly recommend buying pool supplies on Amazon! Saved lots of $$$.

I purchased this Poolmaster Heavy Duty In-Ground Pool Vacuum Hose when my robotic pool cleaner quit working. I was very depressed because NESSY, our pool robot was almost one of the family. Anyway, while NESSY was off for repairs I needed an alternate way to clean the crud off the bottom of my pool. Yes, I had an old vacuum hose but it was old and had holes in it so it really didn’t vacuum very much. The Poolmaster hose is just what I needed. It’s affordable and thick enough that I’m not afraid it will spring a leak, and has a swivel end. NESSY is home again and I’m glad I was able to reduce her stress level by providing a dependable backup.

My previous 1-Star review was incorrect. I neglected to read the info that this hose is not for use with automatic pool cleaners, which is why it was leaking air. I have ordered the correct 8-piece 40" hose sections for use with automatic pool cleaners.I had no problem returning the item for a full refund.

"Heavy Duty" means inflexible. Will not even uncoil properly. The inflexible hard plastic ends make it difficult to make connections with skimmers, pool vacuum heads, etc. I attempted to locate an adapter that will work with the female end in my skimmer and no luck. Returned unit.
