This product is a great thing for cleaning a chain or storing a bike with the wheels taken off. Unfortunately, the one I got was missing a small piece. I was able to scavenge a comparable part from a Pedro's chain keeper that I had, so no big deal. It still works better than other chain keepers because it has an actual 11 tooth cog, as opposed to the usual oval piece of plastic that your chain just scrapes against. Just wish it had come intact.

I don't have a vast experience of bike repair, but in the few years that I have been honing my skills, I realized I need a bike chain keeper because it's cheap and handling a loose chain is very annoying. Most others I saw did not have a 'actual' gear to grip the chain. I like this design because of personal preference but it allows a more realistic pedaling motion if I work on the rear derailleur or chain. In general, any chain keeper will help protect your frame from a loose chain rubbing, so a win-win.

Used it for the first time yesterday to clean my bike. It was very easy to install and the chain moved flawlessly through the entire cleaning. I was pleased.

Item did arrive on time however there’s a slight problem with the sizing. The jockey wheel’s inner diameter of about 4.5mm doesn’t fit to the axle’s 6mm. It will never fit
