Awesome item, used it to replace a broken handle

Would buy again
Perfect replacement for my old handle. Took me 5 minutes to install. Make sure you have an allen wrench to tighten it though! P. S. Stay away from universal faucet replacements. Handle broke off after only 3 uses.

Beautiful but can’t replace knob
This is a beautiful handle. Fairly heavy. However, it did not fit our shower set up that previously had a knob. I’ve attached a picture for reference. The handle simply isn’t deep enough to take the long post that the knob uses to attach. If you have a loose handle on this model of Kohler faucet, then this will fix it.
The little black plastic bushing that Kohler used to attach the handle was probably a poor design in the first place. But if the bushing gets broken or worn, then this will fix it.

Bad engineering
The lever is nice. However, I found that after installation, this assembly fails to properly grip the valve controlling the water. For example, after 2 or 3 uses, I could no longer take a shower and would have to remove the lever and retighten the cuboid-shaped part. Bottom line—this is bad engineering and a better design is needed.

Typical Kohler
As usual Kohler over designed something to make it cheaper. The set screws won't stay tight and the plastic insert strips out causing the handle to just spin. After tightening several time the tiny set screw rounds out and won't tighten or come out, then you have to drill it out and buy a whole new handle.
