Quick, easy read.
It's a cute story. I did like it, but it drove me nuts that the commas were so misplaced!!! I read a lot of supernatural series - LOVE the Argeneau series and Black Daggar Brotherhood series!!! Those are my favorites. This kinda reminds me of the Nocturnal Fall series. I like the story itself - she was a bit creative, as i've said i've read A LOT of supernatural books! I haven't heard of anything like this. Not too much substance and a little too much graphic sex for me....and yes I know, Black Daggar is vampire porn.

Sympathetic heroine
Poor Ella has been plagued since childhood by voices that tell her things she could not possibly know otherwise. Due to their cruelty and superstition, Ella's parents abandon her - at the tender age of seven - to live in a mental institution. There, she faces other dangers, leading to her rescue by a vampire named Zane. Ella then discovers love, freedom, and the strength to wield her own power. Langlais's beautiful story of Ella's triumph is well worth a click!

Wanted to like
I've read other books by this author and loved them but this just didn't do it for me. Unlike some reviewers I didn't have a problem with the 'insta-love.' I actually understood that because who wouldn't love someone who took you away from a life like the heroines. And as for the hero, well, I believe the relationship could work. But there was way way too much sex and that really didn't help me concentrate on the story. I usually like this author so that was why she received as many stars as she did, but it was more reputation than enjoyability of the storyline. Meh.

Not bad at all!
I enjoy listen / reading the book, so much that I had buy the next one on Amazon. Why four instead of five stars? Well, I felt there could be a little more. I know you can't put everything in the first book, but would like to know more about the bad doctor and his world of the wizard. Only a brief segment in the book when the Dr states to wanted take over the council. I have a feeling there more to that story! Also I wanted more about Zane taking blood only from her and will that be enough. That issue wasn't address. Just left unfinished. She still only human. She can't replace blood fast enough to subduing his need to feed. Other than that part, the story is really cute! If you don't mind the xxx sceen. I like how the voices in her head made them waited to have sex.Overall this book is nice get away and relax book! Can't wait for the next one pop up on my kindle. I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did!

First of a Series
Picked up Crazy (Crazy Ella in Love Book 1) when it was free to support the release of the second book of the series, Even Crazier.A typical romance with vampire as adjusted for Ms. Langlais humor twists, though not as much "hot, hot" as I am used to from her -still, the scenes that do happen are unique. The heroine is a naive Mary Jane; the hero an ancient vampire. Insta-love results - ghosts keeping them apart for the hot-hot scenes for a while until their relationship develops and the woman has time to develop enough to make an informed decision (she had been institutionalized all her life because she could hear the ghost talking). She is still a Mary Jane even after learning more about the world and has none of the normal snarky goodness of Ms. Langlais heroines (don't worry, the next book has a heroine who more than makes up for that). The contrast between the deadly, and deadly bored, vampire and the sweet girl makes an interesting dynamic. An "okay" Ms. Langlais book (not up to the standards I expect of her), this story sets up a series where the next book looks like it is gonna knock my socks off.

Laugh Out Loud Funny!
This is a NON-SPOILER REVIEW. Crazy by Eve Langlais is Book One in the Crazy Ella In Love series. I can't recommend this book highly enough! I laughed at all the antics of Ella and her voices. This really cute quick read is just what the doctor ordered for a stress free, fun time out! Poor Zane! This is a great introduction to a new series that will keep you coming back for more! A fabulous combination of humor, snark, great characters, steamy sex and supernatural creatures that will leave you holding your sides from laughing so hard. Five out of six voices in my head loved this book, the sixth voice is just singing as loud as she can!

I couldn’t finish
I got about 25% through the book and it was more ridiculous than intriguing. There wasn’t anything that gave me a connection to enjoy the characters. Overall cheesy in the worst way. Sorry but no thanks for anymore of this

This is a cool series
Ella is crazy. Well she thinks she is with all the voices in her head. She has been locked up since she was 7. She dreams of being free of not only the voices but just free. Zane was just going to the Asylum for a “bite” when he saw her. Something about her draws him in and he is unwilling to let her go. Her past will come into play and the reason the Doctor was so kind. You have to love that Ella’s voices have a power of their own. They not only drive her crazy at times. They also can hurt those that are trying to hurt her. Plus they don’t seem to trust Zane. Heck when we first meet Dr. Peters you have to question why he is being so nice, then you find out why. You have to love the connection Ella and Zane have. And the fact that Ella never really was weak. She took matters in her own hands and saved herself and Zane.I hope there are more books to this series. We also got to meet Felicia. Didn’t realize that she was powerful too. But her story will be a fun one to read about next. I look forward to when that book comes out.

A Great Paranormal Romance That's Also Fun To Read
This has been my favourite story that I have read by Eve Langlais. I found it very easy to read, the plot had enough mystery to keep me wondering what would happen next and I loved both of our main characters - Ella and Zane - they had all the traits that I look for in leading characters. If this was a longer book, I would have loved to get to know Zane's butler and cook more too.I downloaded the audio version of this book and was very impressed with the narration. It is the first time I have listened to a story with 2 narrators. Both Summer Morton and Lee Samuels are new-to-me but I enjoyed their performances; how they read this story, the pace at which they read certain scenes and how they varied their tones. My only niggle was with how Ms Langlais dealt with the threat on Ella's life; I felt it came to a head too quickly and the conclusion was too easy. It was a bit of an "oh, was that it" moment. There is no perilous life or death cliffhanger ending (woo!hoo!) and I look forward to reading book 2.

Really enjoyed it
I took a chance on this book and am so glad that I did as I was so into it the pages kept turning and the world disappeared. Great characters, great story and great chemistry. I was gutted when I got to the last page as I wanted to keep on reading about Ella and Zane and find out what happens to them next...guess I'm just going to have to buy book 2!

A quick read.
I'm reading the Welcome to Hell Series and absolutely loving them so thought I'd give this one a go. Although I enjoyed the story, it didn't grip me as much as the Hell Series. I liked the characters and the plot, but there was just something missing in this one for me. I will give the 2nd in the series a go though a little disappointed in this one.

Left lacking
The book had potentially to be a good one but author moved the story to quickly. Vampire became besotted within a chapter. No struggle with himself. Girl came into power too quickly. The villain defeated in less than 30 seconds. Would not recommend. Disappointed that I don’t have a new author to read their books because worried they are all like this.

Really Good Read
Really liked this book, the story has spunk and got interesting, had some gritty exciting moments. Also some very sad moments which bring the characters to life. All books need that to bring the story to life. Definitely needs a sequel, a good one at that! Hope to read more in the future :)
