Well, it works, which seems to be a miracle considering the battery case had pieces of solder banging around in it... Another issue was the piece of dirt in the main light rattling around. The batteries are garbage, so if you buy this, might as well but some much better 18650's. I would honestly be amazed if the packaged batteries rate any higher than 1000mAH, they also both have different weights which leads me to believe these are relabeled, "refurb" (garbage) lithium batteries, so, throwing those away. Lastly, there is no way these are Cree bulbs in here, no way, given the poor QA of this thing.

bright led lights but inferior charger connector
The lighting from the LEDs is great however when plugging in the charger connection the connector dislodged inside so can't plug in anymore. I can take batteries out to apply pressure from the back side of the connector so it can be plugged into charge but a pain. If you buy just be careful when plugging in... don't push to hard.

This headlamp works great. I use this headlamp for several things, one of which is when I am working on electronic projects so I can see better when soldering.
