I will be getting another with my green house heater

This product was very easy to setup. Purchased two since we had two heaters. Prior to purchasing, I had to manually monitor the greenhouse to make sure the plants were surviving our winter / or not overheating. Now I have to the digital readings point outward where I don't have to leave the house and can read them to validate that the requested inside temperature is being maintained. I can tell when the heater fans start up based on LEDs and when the inside temperature is perfect for our plants. I would recommend this product if you want it to automatically control your heater(s).

I bought this to keep my greenhouse at a set temperature during the colder days of late winter through the last frost date. I'm so glad I didn't cheap out and buy other cheaper thermostats because this thing has left me worry-free thus far. It is easy to set up, adjusts temperatures as needed, and shut off when I don't need it on warmer days. I don't use the cool mode just the heating mode and it has kept my greenhouse toasty on those cooler cloudy days and at night. I also have a Bluetooth thermometer in the greenhouse that I can monitor the temperature with my phone and it maintains the temperature where I set it. I love that it's waterproof so I don't have to worry about damaging it if I accidentally get water on it when I water my plants. Would recommend this product to anyone thinking about buying it. I've seen some reviews about the buttons being hard to press but they updated their design since those reviews and I haven't had any issues with the buttons. 10/10

The bio green company encourages you to buy this thermostat with the greenhouse heaters but it is a 110 and will not work with the 220 heater which is what I bought. Too late to return it.

I finally am happy I found a Digital Thermostat that will Run my Greenhouse Fan and Shutter Motor all at once. The controller was working fine since purchased last Sept 2023. It has a 2 year guarantee.8 months later (a few weeks ago), the controller stopped working and just emitted a constant error tone.We have two of these units, side by side, and the other one is still working fine.I submitted a warranty claim and provided all the information requested. Then, dead silence from the company. Their warranty claim process yields no paper or digital trail of any kinds. No ticket number, contact information, nothing. I am still waiting for them to contact me with a resolution.[Edit]The company finally replied and sent out a replacement unit.So, I give them 4 stars for standing behind their product. I did not give them 5 stars because of the lack of communication and making me wonder if they were processing it at all. If they communicated with customers better I would give them 5 stars

This seems like a premium-quality control, and I hesitate to critique it so harshly, but it has a really weird design choice that I have a hard time forgiving. If the temperature in your greenhouse exceeds 108F (which is quite easy if you're measuring temperature at higher points), the unit will error out, sound an alarm--AND SHUT OFF.I had this happen to me about a week after I put the unit in, forgot to open a door, and came back half an hour later to a tunnel full of plants that had reached 128F as the fan had shut down creating a solar furnace. Fortunately I was there fast enough to spray everybody down and open enough things up that no permanent damage was done, but it was far too close for comfort.108F seems an absurdly low limit for a greenhouse thermostat, especially when the error behavior is to literally shut the fan off and basically accelerate roasting everything to death. It would make more sense if the threshold was like 130 or something where the plants are probably already dead.As it is I am debating whether to return this simply because of this behavior. At the very least, if you buy this, be really aware that this is how it works.

After worrying with erratic operation of a greenhouse heater with thermostat and even purchasing another heater of the same type, we purchased the BioGreen greenhouse thermostat and after testing it to determine cut-on and differential temperature to cut-off, installed in less than five minutes. It is working great! No more concerns about frozen plants, and a constant temperature within two degrees of the set-point. A remote thermostat allows us to monitor the green house temperature from inside the house, and with both heat gain from sun and cold winter nights, we are very pleased with the controller's performance. the instructions that come with the device are a bit vague with regard to what is a heating cycle and what is a cooling cycle, but after testing with ice water on the thermistor probe, it is apparent which is which. The manual that can be found on-line is a bit better. I recommend this to anyone who needs to control a modest size electric heater.

Got this to go with my Palma greenhouse heater.I takes a bit to figure out the settings, but it works well.Ive tested it against other temperature readers in the green house and it seems rather accurate.I would mount it at height where most plants are to ensure the best temperature in that critical zone, -if too high up then it will seem warmer, too low will result in slightly too cold, on a exterior wall may also result in cooler then wanted reading.I would recommend this, especially if you can get it on sale

J’ai acheté ce produit pour la serre . Je la maintiens à 10 degrés l’hiver . J’ai branché deux ventilateurs dessus et il fait son boulot de régulation. Les ventilateurs dont ceux de la même marque bio Green. Ils sont parfaits .
