Fun way to add color.
I recently tried hair chalk, and it’s been a fun way to add a little color to my hair without any commitment! The colors are vibrant, and applying it is super easy—just swipe it onto your hair and you’re done. It’s great for special occasions, themed parties, or just trying out a new look for a day. The chalks don’t damage my hair and wash out easily with shampoo.Pros:✅ Easy to Use – Simple to apply with no mess.✅ Vibrant Colors – Gives a bright, fun color that stands out.✅ Temporary & Washable – Perfect for trying out new colors without a permanent change.✅ Affordable – A fun way to experiment with hair color on a budget.✅ No Damage – Doesn’t damage your hair like permanent dye can.Cons:❌ Can Be Messy – It might transfer onto clothes or hands, so be careful.❌ Not Long-Lasting – The color can fade quickly, especially with brushing or sweating.❌ Works Best on Light Hair – The colors show up best on lighter hair tones; darker hair might not take the color as vividly.Final Thoughts:Hair chalk is a fun and temporary way to add color to your hair without the commitment of permanent dye. It’s easy to apply, affordable, and a great option for anyone looking to add some color to their hair for a special occasion. Just be aware that it may not last long, but it’s definitely worth a try for a temporary change! 🌈🎨

Blends in greys, pretty raspberry color
Lasts until next shampoo and once dry doesn't leave marks behind on pillow, etc. Warm, raspberry color on brown hair and blends in greys too. I use a small makeup brush for a fine application and to get close to roots. Fun and pretty with no commitment or damage!

Works a little too well
I used the pink and blue for my Enid Sinclair costume. Overall, the hair chalk definitely works like it claims. However, it does make the texture of your hair disgusting until you wash it out. With that being said, not all of the pink has washed out of my medium blond hair. The blue washed out right away, but a lot of the pink still remains in patches. I've washed it about 10x with my regular shampoo and 2x with head and shoulders. The head and shoulders seems to be working on removing the pink, bit it's definitely been a process. So I'd be cautious if you end up using the pink.

Just about what you expect from chalk but it will magically not get on your pillowcase.
Hair chalk is hair chalk, it’s gonna be sticky, weigh hair down and stain just about all organic material (I haven’t tried it on a steak yet but I’d assume it’d turn the same shade of purple as I did.) The only issue I had was the chalk slipping out of the actual comb? Either from the top or the sides.I’m not particularly careful about where I put my hair but this chalk genuinely stayed on. My head was hitting white sheets, people’s gowns, the wall (I’m clumsy) and I haven’t seen any color anywhere except my HANDS and my neck. But like again. It’s chalk. I must’ve used up just about every color but pink in 2-3 weeks and my surroundings remain unstained.

A Fun Product, but a Hard No
It's definitely worth it to try, especially with super light or blonde hair. My daughter is a darker blonde, and the colors still managed to be somewhat colorful and noticeable. It's relatively easy to apply, and it's easy to wash off should any get on you. Perfect for play or dress up or Halloween. However, the cons sort of outweighs the pros:I really, really hate how tacky it becomes (the hairspray doesn't help, I know, but even before applying it, the hair chalk still left an undesirable texture).- My daughter had significant knots afterward (even with brushing before application, as stated in the directions). Note: Probably not recommended for fine hair.- I felt like I applied layer after layer of color and all it did was come off my hands, resulting in a less-than-vibrant color (over and over again).I dunno. Maybe it was a user error in all of this, but I found myself inching towards semi-permanent hair color (something I wanted to avoid), like Color Rista by Loreal, instead of something that doesn't last, like... *at all*. But it almost seems more worth it.

Great color but wash right out
These are great for my 4 year old. Great color with blonde hair and They really do wash right out with soap and water. Definitely would buy it as a gift.

Easy to use.
I love using these hair chalks. I'm a Grandma that likes to have fun. The grandkids love it, too. It's so easy to use, and washes out the next time you wash your hair.

Blue & Red worked white didn't work so well.
The blue and red definitely will dye your hair but the white did not work very well. It makes your hair feel gross, but it did the job of coloring my hair. It also makes your hair freeze because your having to pull the color in the little plastic device through your hair. Next time I will try a spray on color.
