It sounds great when working right
The sound is clear, its got plenty of power to power my speakers. The only complaint i have is. If you have the volume at low setting. The sound will only come out of one speaker. When you turn it up little more then it kicks in. I switch the speaker wires and still has the problem. So im waiting on a replacement and ill see if it works with another one. If not ill be sending it back if it does the same thing.

Sound great, but annoying pop at power on/off.
The only issue I have is that the speakers make a sharp pop when I power them on or off. I've tried adjusting the volume down first, cutting power via the power cord rather than the switch in the front, installing a remote power switch, all to no avail. Sound quality is excellent with some small 50 watt JBL bookshelf speakers being used in my garage!

Works perfetly and as expected
This is exactly what I needed and was simple to setup and use. Very happy so far.

Lasted a short time, don't buy
Worked very well at first, no noise or hum. Now it's intermittent at best. I've been running a computer fan for added relief. It never got hot.Bad product, you get what you pay for.

Amazing value
No hiss at all.

Quality is great!
Very easy to hook up and use. The audio quality is also great, there is literally no distortion at higher levels. For the price you are getting, and the quality of this amp is well worth it!

awesome little amp
I use this to push 2 aurasound transducers, the big ones and they're mounted to my sim rig. The amp has far more power than I need for the shakers, I typically run maybe 20% power

A great little amp with very minor problems
I love this little amp. Not too expensive, great sound and power, solid construction overall. The included power supply is 19v and around 4.5amps, which is good enough to drive most normal loads. I expected a smaller psu so I was surprised to get this. There is a separate power button so you can keep your volume setting when power cycling. There are a few issues with the device:1) the volume knob is really cheap plastic2) the volume control is too reactive so you reach very high volume with 25% rotation. not very practical and much less accurate than expected.3) the speaker connecting posts are combo banana and screw in. they are ok but too close together. makes connections difficult.

Good option for a desktop setup.
This product is convenient and includes an appropriate power brick to power the amplifier itself. This is great for a desktop setup, and I have it working well with a pair of MB42X. I am able to turn the volume dial roughly to 50% without any distortion. This amplifier has a fair bit of power that exceeds what my speakers need, so I am not even using the full extent of power it can deliver. There is no marking on the volume knob, and there is an arbitrary "MIN" and "MAX" label on the amplifier. Because there is no arrow, it is almost impossible to tell what the volume is set to. I have stuck a piece of tape on the knob to keep track, but even if the starting position is marked at "MIN", the knob can be twisted 1 full revolution, meaning it will go past the "MAX" label and end up back at the "MIN" label. The power brick plug into the amplifier is not very secure and it sticks out ~3mm and can be easily wobbled loose. This is not a problem if you keep the amplifier relatively secured on a surface. There is no dedicated subwoofer outlet, which is what makes it so compact and appropriate for desktop speakers. However an active subwoofer can still be attached to the same plugs as the speaker cables to allow for subwoofer function. The casing of the unit itself is very well finished without any marks or dents.

Compact and powerful enough for any stereo speaker setup!
My first experience with this brand. I did not have room for a full featured receiver so i took a chance on this to drive some pioneer andrew jones bookshelfs rated at 80W each max. Im going optical out from TV to a simple DAC (Fiio) then RCA from that to this little beast. Build is great, volume is smooth, no channel imbalance from a whisper all the way up. Very low noise, no hiss until way beyond safe volumes (80%+). For my setup 25% or 9 oclock on volume is already loud, I have not needed to push it past 10 oclock. To my surprise the unit and power supply stays cool to the touch after hours of use. I highly recommend this amp for any stereo setup, this thing could even drive tower speakers easily. I do have two minor gripes, (1) the speaker posts are plastic, please just use metal for a few cents more. (2) there is no visual volume level indicator, why? Also note the speaker posts are on the smaller side, i would not use wire thicker than 16 guage or it may not fit. Unless you use banana plugs, which are crazy overpriced... but i digress.

Hiss with provide power supply
This seems quite good, but the provided power supply added a hiss even when no music was playing. I'm guessing this is unrelated to the amplifier itself but I don't want to go an find a better quality power supply just to use this amplifier.

Upgrading The Power Supply Is A Must!
The chips are good, the build quality is good, the provided power supply is the let down. The provided 19V low wattage power supply can not supply the amplifier with enough power. It will distort and highs will lose definition at about 2/5 volume and up.The datasheet for the TPA3116 states a maximum voltage of 26V. Nobsounds website states the amplifier can support up to 24V. Common laptop power supplies can go to 24V and are the easiest to get; if you have a gaming laptop you are half way there. After upgrading to a 24V 240W supply I was able to go to maximum volume and wattage though my Polk book shelf speakers. No distortions, no audio crackling from the under powered provided supply, highs so clear and loud I could hear them though my skull. As I was wearing double hearing protection when testing maximum volume. You need to be careful with this amplifier as with the stock configuration you could instantly blow low wattage surround and/or book shelf speakers (Allot of those are not even rated for more than 25W RMS each and this amplifier can provide more than that stock). And after upgrading the power supply you definitely will. The TPA3116 are some great chips (They can do the advertised power of 200W RMS in this configuration) when used correctly. But the provided power supply will NEVER make it there.
