THIS STUFF ACTUALLY WORKS!I am adult with acne since early teens, it runs in the family and so far Doctors had been unable to find something to really make a dent in it.I tried lots of tablets, creams etc.So I decided to try finding new solutions on my own.I had a SUPER BAD break out just before this arrived, so I immediately started using it, baptism of fire for this product having to follow up one of my worst breakouts in years.FIRST:You need to use it totally consistently, do what it says on the tub!Wash your face properly twice a day, exfoliate your skin first.Make sure your hands are totally clean when you apply itPut it on your skin immediately after it's dry after washing, don't put anything else on first.It will dry your skin, don't get it in your eyes or anything, it smells quite strongly so I'm sure it stings.I moisturise a while afterwards to help with the drying, also make sure your moisturiser isn't causing break outs as some do.Also look at your make up if you wear any, I'd recommend going without for a few weeks to give this a proper test. Make up often contributes to skin problems.It may take a few weeks to notice the difference, stick at it, consistency is the key.I haven't changed anything else, my skin care, medication, diet and lifestyle have all remained the same since before I've just added this product in twice a day as instructed.And my skin is A LOT better, just from adding this to my life.It took a while to work, need to be totally consistent but now I am...my acne is practically gone, after more than 10 years of really no let up in it at all.I've gone from getting several large spots a day to none for weeks, and when I do get them I know why: I messed up taking my tablets or I ate dairy (p.s. dairy causes acne, get it gone) or eat tons of sugar (affects your hormones, contributes to acne),I didn't wash my face properly, forgot to use it...But even then I only get 1 or 2 really tiny spots, if any, sometimes I just get small red marks that don't do anything at all and then disappear.Also my scars are fading faster than they ever did before, about a month in I started noticing, my scars are disappearing really quickly which is amazing!p.s Acne sufferers, get dairy out of your diet too.This is not some paid review or anything, although if they want to send me some for free I wouldn't say no ;)This could be the start of your acne-free life, so try it.UPDATE: 7 weeks exactly since I first started using this stuff.Still working, amazing.

I decided to wait about 3 weeks before I wrote a review just so that I could really see how this product worked.I had a few really sore red cystic spots on my chin which are recurring blind spots that come up every 2-6 weeks. I sometimes also get a few superficial spots around my nose, and occasionally the odd one or two spots on my forehead and cheeks. But my chin is the worst and they are always so sore and red.So I put this on the same day it arrived as I had a massive blind spot coming up and another cystic spot that had turned red and sore on my chin. The next day they were both a lot better! They were definitely A LOT less sore and angry, the redness had gone down and I felt a little better. I continued to use the product for the first 2 days just on the spots (I did use a little more than twice a day though) and they were definitely starting to go down.I eventually started to put a thin layer across my face before I moisturised and I noticed that it started to help my pores and blackheads, slowly but surely (over a week or two).It is really important to note though that salicylic acid isn't a miracle, overnight treatment to flawless skin - it definitely helps those aggravated cystic spots overnight by making them a lot less painful and really helping the swelling and redness go down but it does take a good few days to a week to really work and get rid of the gunk altogether.Also, any of these acids that you start using all over your face will start to boost and accelerate skin renewal by getting rid of dead cells and bringing all the dirt from deep down up to the surface of the skin which means that you can often experience your skin initially getting worse before it gets better! But that's really normal for a lot of people, the spots that come up all at once would have come up anyway at some point but the salicylic acid just brings them to the surface all in one go. The important thing is to bear with it and not get too disheartened (I pushed through the purge phase which lasted 2 weeks or so) but then your skin begins to look sooo much better overall after that because you've really got deep into the pores and cleared all the excess sebum, dead cells etc out.The massive blind spot I had eventually turned into like 4 cystic spots all in the same part of my chin once I started to use the cream and it drew all the gunk to the surface, but they went away pretty quickly after 3 days or so of continued use.This stuff really is amazing and has really helped with those painful spots, I also make sure I now use this cream in conjunction with a good skincare routine to make sure that my deep pores are now super clean and the recurring spots don't come up any more!I think the important thing I have learned though is that any acid can make you 'break out' initially as your skin basically starts to purge but after that it makes a massive difference - so I absolutely love this product and would definitely buy again!
