This fountain is a dream, my cat is a nightmare
The media could not be loaded. This fountain is perfect! My maine coon likes to drink from dripping taps and will sit in the sink howling until the tap is running for him. So i bought a drink well big dog fountain for him and my chow years ago which stopped the cat drinking from the sink. The drinkwell had a large reservoir though which the cat would empty over the floor every night but shovelling the water out with his large paws, he also empties any dish or cup of liquid he finds. We lost out chow recently and felt it was time to retire the old large fountain too and tried using dishes of water again. This was a hard no for the cat who just refused to drink from a dish, so I thought this fountain with its shallow water platform and spouts would be perfect. We get some sprinkled water where the cat tries to shovel the water out but no flooded hallway. My only problem is the cat insists the fountain lives in the hallway where the old fountain for the dog lived, not the nice space I made next to his food, does anyone else compromise with their pets? The fountain is great though, easy to assemble, fill and clean. It's super quiet, a very light hum (which my husband can't actually hear) and you can't hear the water running at all, my old fountain sounded like a garden water feature!I love the mat is comes with and it's super cute! Everything is great quality, I highly recommend 👍

Silent, easy to clean, quick delivery
The fountain arrived next day and was easy to set up.Cleaned the parts (as you should), filled with water, good to go.One of my cats prefers to drink from little streams, so he's having a blast. My other cat doesn't like the stream itself so much, but she licks on top or even in the little puddle. I now have two drinking fountains, of different brands, and both my cats drink out of both fountains. As long as there is the option to drink from a reservoir as well as from the stream itself, you can't go wrong.Good purchase, quick delivery, 2 years warranty. What more can you ask for that price.Would recommend.

Charcoal filter. Quiet and compact. Great product.
A great little product. It’s compact and quiet - the dogs love it! It hold plenty of water, which can flow in two ways; it can either bubble up continuously, or flow from the ‘flower’ like a faucet. My two dogs prefer it without the central flower. Runs off electricity, cable is around 2m long.It has a charcoal filter, which is brilliant! Dust, pet hairs, muzzle dirt etc are all filtered out of the water so the supply is always clean - unlike a traditional water bowl. Also, because the water is constantly flowing, there is no stagnation, so both dogs seem to be drinking more from this than they usually would. Happy dogs and happy owner 😊👍

Spout too low
Our cat will not use it - the nozzle is too short & our cat cannot easily gets its head underneath the (weak) water stream without geting the other side of it's head wet. It does do what it says so I don't have a reason to return it but it's now switched off and lyng in the garage.Update: the seller clearly takes comments on board - they asked me for more details of the problem so could give feedback to their supplier. Also they refunded me (without prompting). 5 * for the seller but still only 2* for the pet fountain.

Save's you time and effort and pleases your cat
Decent quality product for the price. It makes a slight buzz but once you sit it together neatly it's very quiet. My cat was instantly interested by the flower and hopped backwards when first seeing it. But I now see her use it as her only drinking source. It also gives me peace of mind that if I'm away for 24 hours she will have plenty of water available.

Cat loves it - seems to satisfy her need to drink rainwater
Cat didn't like drinking standing water from a bowl indoors, but went mad for any rainwater on the terrace, lapping up the filthy stuff until she was too full. Got this and she now gives the rainwater a couple of licks, but comes back in to drink at the fountain. Doesn't seem to mind water running down her face, actually appears to enjoy it.When first time using, I did put her paw into the water so she knew what this new contraption was. That's all it took and she immediately started drinking and returning on her own. She's deaf, so any motorised hum won't bother her. Noise is minimal - just keep it topped up - actually when the dripping gets louder, we know to add water. Her water station is in a very quiet front-room and noise has not been a bother. She prefers with the flower so there is a little waterfall effect.Assembly is easy enough. Every couple of weeks, need to disassemble completely and toss all but the pump in the dishwasher. That seems to have worked fine. Filters look a bit lame, but seem to do whatever they're intended to do.

No longer working after a month.
After 1 month it broke. Either the motor has broken or the plug fuse has gone. Which as the plug is a sealed unit, you can't get to it. A few days after the return period. Up until this point it seemed to be ok.

Not really suitable for my cat
Easy to put together and easy to clean although I do think it's a bit of a faff having to clean the filter - of course, that can't be avoided if you're going to have one of these. I thought my cat would love it because he loves fresh running water and he certainly used it without a problem, even though the motor makes a hum loud enough that I thought he'd be put off. BUT in order to be able to drink from the little fountains my cat has to get so close that he ends up with a wet face. I didn't like this so stopped using it & actually felt happier not having the noise in the kitchen. Since it wasn't in use for very long I can't comment on whether my cat would have been happy with it long term - it's the same water circulating, so I imagine it wouldn't taste very fresh by the end of the day.
