Jalapenos are no joke!
Seriously, all this food? So much vegetable! Lived on this for a short 6 day expedition. Sincerely worth every penny. As a veg-head, I can attest to the quality and quantity of the food provided. These packets are great and durable. Some veggies required a little more boiling or soaking time. What stands to memory are the jalapenos. You do not need much of them, say in a bowl of beans, to get a kick of heat. I don't remember any of the veggies lacking flavour.Super lightweight, easy to use, and adds a variety of foods to camping trips. Highly recommend a try. Perhaps great for a bug-out bag, too.

It's a good, fresh, flavorful product. A+
Got this for my husband for a back packing trip, because I wanted to be supportive and it made a great gift. I might point out, if you have ever bought this kind of thing at someplace like REI, omg, this is so much cheaper to make your own meals. He would not be so extravagant to buy this for himself. Lets face it; he works all day; he doesn't even know about this sampler; having little time for online shopping. He loved it!Regarding the quality of dried veggies from Harmony House. The dried shallots, leaks, etc. that I buy taste fresh and have amazing quality of flavor. Very impressive.I probably would not have gotten this for $40.00 as it did not seem economical. But, I have had such good experiences with this company. Very impressive. This is a nice way to try all the different products, too, or organize it for a trip, and/or just refill for less cost with the larger bottles.Cons: I usually buy all organic, so the fact it's not is a disappointment. Living stress free and eating/cooking at home is healthy, too, and often eating out is not organic, which I do too much of. So I get this for convienence. I would pay more for an organic product if they offered it, not that I think I should have to. Organic is the right thing to do; yet I am selling out for convience in this case, hoping their products are not ladden with chemical pestisides. If anyone knows, or reads this review, please let me know!Or perhaps when I get to it I can search out a company that offers this kind of thing and is organic, and affordable.

Dehydrated Vegetables are Handy
I bought the variety pack of dehydrated vegetables after I got cookbook on meals in a jar for the Instant Pot. It is nice to keep these on hand. Great for making veggie soup. I usually make it on the stove instead of the Instant Pot or Crock-Pot. Just add veggies to broth and heat for 15-30 minutes. Larger mushrooms need to be soaked in water for at least an hour prior to cooking.

Camping/Roadtrip Game Changer! 4.75 Stars
These are great for camping! Whether you are using in veggie omelets, ramen noodles or soups they have great flavor and are easy and lightweight to pack. I'm pretty sure we have enough jalapenos to last a lifetime! The only reason why I didn't rate them five stars is because the directions don't work well. The best way to use them is to put them in water at least the night before it the morning of use. They should also keep for a few days in the cooler or fridge.

Dehydrated Pre washed, and soaked beans, very good quality.
I bought the 25 lb box of Dehydrated Pre-Washed and Soaked Red Beans. Very good product. Arrived quickly, and the product is exactly as described. Will be ordering again.

DELICIOUS AND NUTRITOUS
I purchased the sampler when I realized a surgery I had scheduled would mean I could not use my dominant hand for at least 6 weeks. I like to cook my own food and not eat out. the veggies in the sampler were all very tasty. I also purchased the sampler pack of beans and legumes. These two packs allowed me to make soups, stew, chili, meatloaf, spaghetti sauce, and more of my favorite home cooked dishes. Even went back. to purchase larger containers of the onions and bell peppers to have on hand for various dishes. I sent the daughter a veggie sampler box and she too loves the products! While it is true a little nutrition is lost in the dehydration process the trade off for my needs was worth it and I still had the fiber! I will definitely be purchasing again for my long term prepping AND my everyday use! You should too!

Excellent way to have veggies on trail (and avoid scurvy)
These were SO DELICOUS. I took these on my JMT hike in 2016 and loved them! I was initially hesitant to drop fifty bucks on such a small amount of calories, but I'm certainly glad I did. I just felt so much better and healthier having veggies with me on trail instead of endless white carbs (a la those freeze dried foods) The portions may look small or insufficient for 25 days (my trail time) when they arrive, but there is more than enough for 25 dinners (depending on your appetite, bw, height, etc. of course. I'm average size female). My dinners were fairly basic in order to fend off any GI issues. I mixed these veg with either cous cous or pasta for my trail dinners. For cous cous, I usually let the veggies soak in 1 part veg, 3 parts water for about 20 minutes, brought them to a quick boil, added the cous cous and some instant boullion, and let everything sit and absorb for maybe 5-10 minutes. For pasta nights, I would soak the veg for the same 20 minutes, add the pasta and boil for about 5-7 minutes (the pasta was fast cooking - small shells, angel hair, etc) and let it sit for 3-5 minutes. The carrots took a while to rehydrate so sometimes I ate them crunchy (but that's because they're carrots, not because of anything HH did wrong) and I used the tomato powder as a tomato sauce, mixing with a few TB of additional water, small packets of olive oil and spices I packed separately. I originally thought I wasn't going to use the tomato powder at all and it turned out to be my favorite item! I think I was able to stretch the 6 oz pouch about 17 days. The jalapenos are SUPER SPICY. I made a huge mistake mixing in a heaping tablespoon the first night I tried them. Worst. Mistake. Ever. The jalapenos include the seeds so even if you love spice and own a Sriracha t-shirt or whatever, a teaspoon should be more than sufficient. I haven't tasted the cabbage, corn or potatoes (saving for my next hike) but everything else is the bomb-dot-com.
