VeraUmbrella Auto Open Water Activated Color Changing

I have not used this umbrella extensively yet, but it feels solid, and relatively large for the compact shape. I tested the color change on the raindrops and it works well and immediately. (The drops turn peach and pale green.) It is a fun detail to have on a moderately priced umbrella and I am thrilled to see the vintage Vera Neumann designs being repurposed in this way.

I absolutely love this umbrella. Cute, functional, compact, and sturdy. The first day, I used it in a sleet/rain/snow/wind mix! Definitely stood up to the elements! The auto push to open button is great! Everyone at work was jealous! The color changing raindrops are the icing on the cake!

Fascinating, a cute, compact and efficient travel umbrella, covered in cute 'pets' that change to blue or gray when it rains. A fun whimsy for a rainy day walk. It is lighter than a larger umbrella, but still has enough weight to be sturdy. Short length when closed and wrist band make it good for travel. As the dampness dries, the blue and gray colors revert to original white.

Horrible piece of crap. I took this to London for my trip and 2 minutes after I opened it, it blew inside out, and the metal snapped. I was wet my whole trip since it did not last.

I bought this for my middle schooler to keep in her backpack "just in case". It's a cute umbrella, suits a teenager and the color changing cats are fun to watch. The umbrella comes with a sleeve to keep it contained and clean, and is sturdier than I expected for the price. Great buy!

If you absolutely have to have a rainy day, carrying a ladybug-covered umbrella is the way to do it. I didn't realize when I bought this (for one of my kids) that the little bugs changed color. But they do! What a fun little bonus. My youngest really likes this umbrella, and it's the perfect size for carrying in his school bag. He always has it on hand in case of unexpected rainstorms.Super cute design, solid construction, and great size -- no complaints on any front.

This is just a fun umbrella. Yes, it does change colors when wet. Raindrops turn pink. I originally thought this would be a cool umbrella for my son, but no way will he want to use it as it is very feminine. Small handle, but it has a good grip. Easy to open and close. The case for the umbrella is pretty useless after removing. Best of luck trying to get it back in. This isn't a total loss, though. The case also has the "change of color when wet" and I'm sure there can be other uses for it. All and all, it was a good buy. Perfect for those surprise rainstorms that pop up.

I LOVED this umbrella. It was super fun to have and caused a few people to laugh when they saw that it had cats and dogs on it. I really enjoyed how it opened and didn't mind the slightly disjointed closure on it. I saw that in the description the umbrella is advertised to withstand 60mph winds. While I can't totally account for that speed of winds, I can say that it does well under the South Dakota plain winds. It didn't handle my cat though. He decided to attack it during the night when I left it open to dry and it's completely broken. I'm so sad! I'm probably going to be another one! Completely worth the price!!!
