It works!
This product is as described. The price is high, but at least you get two washes out of a single bottle. I clean my Opal Ice Maker fairly regularly with hot water and bleach, but it's necessary to do a deeper clean at least once or twice a year, and that's when I use this product.I did not have any issues with the product being damaged in shipping. Will purchase again.

Product shipped was damaged
seal on bottle was not sealed or it was broken, product leaked out all in the shipping box and all over the contents. Per Amazon there is a no return policy I want my item replaced or my money refunded, it was expensive.

Works Great!
I left my ice maker go longer than I should have for cleaning out the mineral deposits. I used this per the instructions it comes with and it did the job great! If you have bad buildup of mineral deposits like I did, I definitely recommend letting it do it's job for the full 18 hours it states in the directions. While my instructions were not clear on this, I did run it about half of the time in "making ice" mode to get the chemical into that area. The other half, I had the sponge soaked and sitting up in the machine where the ice drops out, resoaking it every once in awhile. Once I drained the machine, I ran several cycles of ice, throwing away the ice to ensure the chemical has been removed from the system.

A bit pricey, but it works
Because this is so much more pricey than the alternatives, I started with the alternatives. And they didn't work. This works, but dang.... way pricey.

Not worth the money in my opinion
The product seems to do what it's supposed to and it came well sealed. It is very expensive considering the manual says you can use white vinegar for the same thing. This product is supposedly very caustic, you gave to wear gloves to work with it. That's enough to make me pretty paranoid about making sure that all of it was rinsed out.One note, the supplies sponge was pretty low quality with several small bits tearing off as I used it. Those were a pain to get out of the reservoir.I won't be buying this again.

Worked!
Overpriced, but worked to get GE OPAL ice maker working again. I have been cleaning the ice maker using an overnight distilled white vinegar cycle approximate once every two months. All of a sudden, the 1-year-old ice maker would stop making ice after a short time, giving a false indication of a low water level. Even after multiple vinegar cleaning attempts the problem persisted. After using the OPAL cleaning solution, the ice maker is working normally.

Too expensive, but it cleans when others won't
I would sure like to know the ingredients in this, because it will clean the heck out of your machine, gets rid of all the white mineral deposits, when white vinegar and other chemicals will not.I HIGHLY recommend this for cleaning, 1/2 bottle every month.
