Very Happy with this Monitor
Just received this Jan 28th 2019 from Amazon. Zero dead or stuck pixels. The picture (VA Panel), size, colors, contrast ratio, 2560x1440, 144Hz, low response time, and curve are awesome. This monitor looks great too (the stand). It has a gamer look but it doesn't overdue it IMO like other gaming monitors. The stand is sturdy, doesn't have too much depth. Upgraded from 24in 1920x1080 144Hz TN. I have a little BLB on completely black screen but it is not a issue. I don't notice it otherwise. I have had this display for 9 days. It has great ergo adjustments. Seems to have them all including left and right swivel. I have been playing a very colorful game called Solus Project. Picture seems perfect. It's Feb 18th now. Still no issues. Really happy with it. I almost bought the Acer XB271HU or Asus equivalent IPS monitor. The better contrast ratio of the VA panel on this model sold me. The lower price helped too. Also the looks of it since I hope it will be on my desk for the next 3 years. It looks very cool. Amazon fulfilled my order so I figured I could trust the quality and return-ability if needed. Maybe IPS would have been better IDK, but I couldn't do a side by side test. I did a lot of hand wringing while shopping and researching monitors. I'm glad it's over. I still would pick this monitor if I were to do it all over again.

MISLEADING ADVERTISING HDR does NOT work with 1ms refresh rate, either HDR or 1ms NOT both
I was very angry when I found out this monitor did not work with HDR enabled and 1ms response time. Not once do they mention that it's either HDR, or 1ms. If you want this as a gmsing monitor, please save your money and skip the HDR and this monitor, just get a decent 1ms monitor with good inherent color reproduction.Seems like both the acer and Samsung monitors with both "HDR/1ms response time/curved" both have this flaw, it's ether HDR or 1ms, neither mentioned his fact

nice monitor
excellent monitor and package. QHD makes a difference. I had a 32' HD and it was really bad. now in QHD I regret not having a bigger size. the curved screen is really comfortable for work.

Really really bad quality
The first one I got had more than 20 dead pixels and corner bezel apart from the frame, replaced it. The second one's frame broken out of box. Replaced again. Crossed my finger opened the third one, looks everything fine, but when I hook it up and tun on my computer, it give me totally abnormal display. no choice, return it. I've gave 3 try and Acer left me no choice. I's so disappointed and it will be the last time I purchase Acer product. Also the workmanship is not good enough to fit this monitor's price range. From the few days usage of the first monitor, I'll say this VA panel is not bad, that's why I try to replace it instead of return. color is good, 2k is sharp, 144hz and Freesync is a plus for gaming. if you are lucky and got one without any quality issue, it's still a nice choice. But seem won't work for me. Good luck.

Has the wow factor
Coming from a budget 7yr old 1080p 60hz TN monitor I figured any upgrade would blow me away. I originally purchased a 24" 1080p 144hz TN (XG2402) monitor and despite the panel being 7yrs newer the picture quality was still the same, this is probably due to both using TN panel technology. It felt barely like an upgrade from my old monitor.. The 144hz was noticeable but I was still stuck at the same resolution and screen size for web browsing and media; I figured the 1440p and 27" is what would scratch that itch. After doing research this monitors checks off a lot of what I wanted especially at that price point and then some. 1440p, 144hz, 27", freesync, adjustable, VA panel, USB port hub, input ports plentiful and up to date. IMO the best choice at the occasional sale price of $429.99. Please consider the following for "my thoughts on the monitor". I use it as a daily monitor at home for browsing, media, and gaming. I play mostly singleplayer games with some online FPS's. None competitively. I have a RX 580 8gb which takes advantage of the freesync and for the most part 144hz on games I play or turn down for AAA games.Thoughts on the monitor*NO DEAD PIXELS*Glad I went with a VA panel, the colours are fantastic to me. This isn't because I am looking for the difference you just notice it especially with the blacks.*I do not notice any ghosting in games with this monitor.*Speakers are alright, I have a headset but like having the option of speakers on a monitor for the odd times.*First curve monitor for me. I'm indifferent to it. If I try a flat 27" then I can judge better if I like it. Right now compared to my previous 24" flat it makes no difference to me whether flat or curve.*This monitor sits as close to me as my 24" one did and it does not bother me. The extra screen estate does not give me trouble in FPS games.*144hz is an immediate improvement for games and web browsing. In my case it actually did help with FPS. Some quick twitch shots I pulled off I figured I was lucky but nope I kept doing it over and over again.*I have not tried HDR on this monitor. I don't believe I have HDR content in my house. Regardless, this seems to be a feature that is not often included in monitors at this pricepoint.Glad I went with this monitor, has the WOW factor I was looking for.

BETTER THEN EXPECTED
i took a gamble here and bought the 27" regardless of the negative reviews, it showed up great! picture quality was stunning out of the box and with some slight tweaks i made it even better i came from 1080p tn and this is it for me i only have a 1070 though definitely gunna need to upgrade to get the most out of the monitor still pushing over 80 fps very high settings

TERRILE BUILD QUALITY - DIED AFTER 2 YEARS/ISSUES FROM THE START
Worked fine for a couple of months then started to have colored lines all across the screen. Dead pixels all over too. It went black for 10 minutes sometimes on start up before showing colors. Also extremely overpriced, 1000$ for a 2k monitor? That's twice as much as it should be. 2 Years later and it doesn't even turn on anymore, its dead. Never buying Acer again, went with an Asus instead and couldn't be happier.

Great monitor for gaming or browsing the web however...
This is a great monitor for watching videos (in 2K), playing games, and browsing the web. Stunning picture quality, and looks super crisp with 144hz refresh rate. Loving the curved screen, makes you really immerse into whatever you are doing. However, after only 2 days the top of the screen is splitting from the frame (see attached pictures)?! Really wild... Will be exchanging, hoping for better luck second time around. See attached pictures.
