Ravelli Professional Video Tripod (72 inch)

The tripod and head are great. First the tripod. It is strong, firm, and handsome. It will suppport a heavy camera or gimbal rigs holding DSLR type cameras with a big lens, cage, rails, matt box, and follow focus. This tripod is not any lightweight. It is strong and firm like the much much more expensive brands. Secondly, the head. It is smooth enough and fine enough. If you ever want to upgrade the head, it fits on a standard 75 mm. bowl. But you will have to spend a lot of money to begin to get something else better. For the money, there is nothing I know anywhere close. And it looks really nice.

The panning isn't working out well. It has to either be really lose or locked tight. If you want resistance it'll jitter or grind on something in there unless you lossen it up more, it's really annoying and makes it hard to use for panning which is what I bought it for.

I am so disappointed with this tripod. It has absolutely no fluid panning left to right and panning up and down is jerky. Beware, this tripod it is absolutely unusable for professional video purposes.

This tripod is so smooth, very lightweight, and can extend taller than I expected. I love the auto leveling function that counter balances the weight of the camera. Very nice build quality. The tripod feels and looks like a very expensive one. The only thing I would change has absolutely nothing to do with the tripod - I wish the bag was a bit larger.

I will eventually change this to 5 stars. I hear the customer support is superb so I have a few questions and comments. I will post a lengthy comment then.I definitely recommend this tripod and brand so far. I am very impressed with the difference from others in the sam price range.Again. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.UPDATE: My questions were answered and some. This company cares about their product. Even enough to share and explain how the head works. Still a great tripod.

On the second outing with my tripod I lost 2 of the 3 feet on the tripod and I cant find the replacement feet anywhere online. Now my tripod wobbles and slides on hard surfaces. What can I do???

Well-made and a good value for the price. I've used it with fairly heavy equipment and it holds its position well. Smooth action and nice to use. Lightweight. Comes with a high-quality bag that makes the tripod easy to repack for transportation. I'm quite happy with this purchase.

It's a heavy duty tripod, that's for sure.The legs adjust effortlessly by sliding up and down for height. I've always owned cheap tripods up until now, and you fight with the legs adjusting them. But not this tripod. Everything slides smoothly. God what a difference quality makes. Happy with the tripod; and it looks sexy.
