Good quality product that remains fresh for months when stored properly
Good quality product that I have enjoyed using frequently. I kept it in an airtight container and it remained fresh for over six months until I used it all up.

Tasty Decent Balachaung/Balachong!
You receive three separate packets inside of the product's packaging, which you have to mix together in a container of your own. I used a zip-lock bag to mix the three separate packets of: dried shrimp, fried onion, and fried garlic. This is my second time purchasing this brand of shrimp Balachaung, and it is very convenient to be able to purchase my favorite condiment via Amazon. Overall the Balachaung is pretty decent. Its not the best that I've ever had, but it's perfectly fine for a mass produced product. The thing that it is missing in my opinion, is a bit of heat/spiciness from chillis, but that is a subjective opinion/choice. So I'd give it 5 stars because of it's convenience!

Authentic and fast!
I was surprised that it came so fast and that they had it come with an anchovy marinate as well! I definitely recommend.

Just like home
This products quite authentic. Just served it at a family party(we immigrated from Burma many years ago). Enjoyed as a side dish with all the curries.

Fresh !!
Amazingly fresh and authentic. For a product that's mass produced and packaged, the quality of the fried onions & garlic is superb. Reminds me of our own homemade product.

It was opened and a dirty shirt sleeve was inside.
I dislike that a food product was sent to me opened with a dirty cut off shirt sleeve inside.

Quintessential Myanmar condiment
Shipping was lightning quick. Products were packaged well. The balachaung tasted great. It’s a quintessential Burmese condiment like Gentleman’s Relish or Marmite for the English and Vegemite for Australians. The funky dried and fried shrimp with fiery chilli flakes, crispy onions and garlic are an acquired taste. For Burmese people, this is the ultimate comfort food and condiment. I usually buy this brand in store and have been struggling to find balachaung since the pandemic. Thanks for offering this product on Amazon.

No indication that it's made by a Muslim
With Burmese food products, I would not count halal label without further research
