I first discovered banlangen when I was in China, on death’s door with the flu. This stuff is quite miraculous.At the first HINT of a cold, immediately drink a cup, and then two more in the same day. It may well ward off the cold.If you are already sick, three cups a day until symptoms improve. On Christmas Eve I was out at a family member’s house. I started to get a sniffle. By the time I got home, I had a sore throat starting.Banlangen to the rescue. By evening of Christmas Day symptoms were gone, except for a little post sinus drip. The sinus drip stoped by the morning of the 26th.Banlangen is an extract of the Woad plant, mixed with cane sugar and dried to granules. It doesn’t taste bad at all. Slightly earthy perhaps, but overall, not bad at all.

I have taken Ban Lan Gen in the past and felt it was a wonder drug for colds and flu. When I took it before it did have a disgusting taste, but those directions led me to just chug down one cup of hot water With one sachet a few times a day. Bingo! Illness gone!Directions with THIS product said to use 15 (fifteen!) sachets in water 3x per day. That’s crazy and would probably kill a diabetic. ONE sachet in water was like drinking syrup. I would rather have the straight Ban LAN Gen and sweeten on my own if I felt I had too. There is NO WAY I can follow these instructions. Wish I had known this.

Fantastic tea! It's made from Isatis root which is an anti-viral- my family (when sick) definitely sees a difference in cold/flu symptoms when drinking this 3x per day. It came well packaged and is the best price I've found (per the quantity) on Amazon for this tea.

This is a great anti-viral product that helps keep you from getting colds, etc. You can drink it alone or put it in various beverages daily especially during the colder months as a preventative.

Everyone around me addicted to this tea now; special changing seasons. Everyone getting sick. This tea save life ~ I already bought my 3rd refills ~love it as always! It’s my must have items for the house.

Very good medicine for flu and cold. Taste is good too.
