EDC Pocket Knife Canyon, 3.2" D2 Steel Tanto Blade Flip Open,G10 Handle Small Folding Knife with Pocket Clip for Men Women, Sharp Camping Hiking Knives

I got this knife because I wanted something slim and lightweight, but also blacked-out (that's my style), and this knife checks off those boxes perfectly! It's also in D2 steel, which in my opinion, is still one of the best metals out there (just go watch some of the cut and stress testing videos on YouTube). I really like the reverse Tanto blade shape, too, because it's easy to resharpen, great for opening packages and cutting in general (and it looks cool). The blade flicks open super easy with the flipper tab, which is well placed and has some jimping on it. The blade was razor sharp out of the box. The knife overall is the perfect size for everyday carry in just about every environment - work, church, family time, or even at the gym. It's that light and slim, yet solid and sturdy because it's well built out of good materials. The only thing I can think of that would make this knife absolutely perfect (and I'm nitpicking here) is if the pocket clip was reversible. I'm a leftie, so that naturally came to mind.Overall, you can't beat this knife for the price if you want a slim, stylish, and well built knife that is perfect for everyday carry in just about any environment.

I love everything about this knife. Excellent blade shape and profile, so very light in the hand, snappy action, sleek shape and dark color with just a pop of orange with a stout and sturdy clip. I will carry this when dressed for a night out as it is sleek and dark, making it very classy and not scary or “tacticool”. The liner lock is also well designed and easy to get to without being flimsy or in the way. Lockup is solid and zero blade-play. Just a really solid design and so easy to carry knife when you want to be subtle yet functional and still really good looking. I meant the knife, not me. ;-)

For the price it's hard to beat. It's a good knife for the office type environment like the crkt CEO and other similar knives in the gentlemen's carry while costing much less and you get a better blade steel at this price point. The only con is it does not have an ambidextrous pocket clip. I would gladly pay a couple bucks for an ambi pocket clip.

Elegant EDC for essential cutting tasks. Bearings are smooth and fast. Fits jeans watch pocket nicely, or tucks close to outside of front pocket in slacks. This one is easy to recommend.

Bought 3 knives from this seller. 2 of them full size tantos with reverse edge "Gold" & "Damascus" style and 1 was the "EDC Pocket" Knife.EDC Pocket - Solid matte black finish. Lightweight, compact, came with cleaning cloth and tightening tool. Overall blade thickness was noticeably thin. Unsharpened non-reversed edge makes this feel like a glorified box cutter. Sharp point, DULL EDGE but sharper than the other 2.Verdict:A blades purpose is to cut. Main reason why I gave it 3 stars. For $40 a piece it should be sharp and complete. Not a good value in my opinion although they look really cool. Ill be keeping the "EDC Pocket" and "Damascus" blades just because I'm in my tanto knife tacticool EDC phase. If you want a knife that cuts out of the box you should spend your money elsewhereGold - Color was more of a matte bronze. Didnt have the seller brand name on the clip Came in a different box than the other 2 knives and was missing the cleaning cloth and star allen key tightening tool that other 2 knives came with. Seemed like it was returned to seller and shipped in a different box. Will be returning for a replacement.Damascus - Pattern looked a bit fuzzy up close but overall aesthetically clean, doubt that it is real damascus steel. Did have the seller brand name on clip. Came with cleaning cloth and tightening toolGold & Damascus - Grip felt like cheap plastic but the fake leather combined with texture made for a good grip. Smooth flipping action, "Damascus" about 15% smoother flip than "Gold". Both had sharp points bit VERY DULL EDGES that wouldn't even cut my skin.

The media could not be loaded. Great light-duty carry for simple, quick tasks. Action is smooth and swift. Good size, light weight due to internal weight relief. Svelte carry. Budget-friendly with a solid build quality!

UPDATE 5/20/2025My original review was a single star. Within 24 hours of the review, Remette reached out to me. They gave me suggestions on how to adjust the knife, and they also offered a refund along with a new knife. The new knife arrived today, and while a bit tight to open, it's exactly what I would expect with a new knife. This one will definitely improve with use. Remette at no time asked me to change my rating. They didn't put any conditions at all on my acceptance of the new knife. I'm changing the review on my own. I am now rating it 5 stars. It's partly due to the new knife and largely due to their outstanding customer service. It's so refreshing to see a company that stands behind their product and also is so proactive in their customer service. Excellent response Remette. Great service, great communication and kudos to your entire team.I'm debating whether to keep the knife and hope it works in, or send it back. I love the looks and the size. But, it's extremely hard to open. Very small tab to flip open, mixed with an extremely tight swivel. Since it's so compact, there is nothing on the blade to allow a secondary option to open the knife. I've had other knives work in after a day or two, but this is so tight I'm not hopeful. I expected better from Remette.

Knife is well crafted, opens smoothly and sharp straight out of the box. Great compact size and lightweight for easy carry.
