I ordered this specific product because the title and description said it had 3M VHB mounting tape. It is not 3M. Doesn't have the 3M marking on it anywhere and it is very thin black foam tape that doesn't even resemble VHB other than the red peel off plastic. I'm pretty sure this will fall off my boat in a few days. The tape on the top set of light is real 3M as you can see by the markings and tape quality, the bottom is the knock off, falsely advertised stuff you get here.

The 16ft strips work fantastic! I was surprised how bright they were being that they are on the outside of our house. Virtually invisible and can stay up all year round for different holidays or celebrations. Now for the down side. When connecting 2 16ft strips together from 1 12v supply, you DEFINITELY see a major fade on the second strip. You must buy separate power supply's and controllers so that the brightness is consistent. The up side of THAT is that when you run them separately, each strip can be controlled and oscillate the colors of each one. Or... change them all with magichome app.

The light quality is pretty good especially for the price, but the adhesive tape used on these lights is garbage. The “sticky” part of the tape does well if you use a promotor, but it is a foam style tape so it deteriorates and falls apart in no time. Tried these on my Harley and am regretting it because I have to clean off the foam and adhesive so I can replace them using 3m double sided tape.

Do not buy. These lights fell off the wall within 2 to 3 weeks. My son has similar lights from another company that stick well. These are a waste of money.I leave a lot of reviews on what I purchase on Amazon. I rarely leave less than four stars.

I have yet to use these. my Daughter was excited to get them for a Christmas gift to line her vanity mirrors. Unfortunately,, i did not read the fine print. There is no Power supply or Remote included with this set. I'm sure the light strip will work fine, once i fine the appropriate power supply/remote for them.Then they want $5.99 to ship them back during return process. What a waste of Money

i got these lights for my daughters bedroom. they came with just the lights, no remote or connector to plug them in so they were unusable. total waste of money, DO NOT BUY
