I bought this bookcase to put my album collection. It is perfect! it is solid, and looks like it will be able to handle the weight of my albums. It was a great deal, too. It took me about 3 hours to put together, but it was not too difficult, there's just a lot of pieces to put together. Loving it!

Unexpected high quality piece of furniture. I’m 5’2” and slight of frame and this only took me about 1 hour to assemble. Instructions were very good Eve. Loved the stickers for left and right pieces. Quite sturdy and looks excellent. All holes matched up shipping packaging was excellent - no scratches or chips. I also loved that the manufacturer put in an “extra hardware parts” bag just in case your initial hardware part bag was short a piece a two. No having to call manufacturer due to a missing piece. I would highly recommend

Very sturdy piece of furniture. I bought this for my husband's album collection and it did not disappoint. Love that it came with a pack of extra hardware and we didn't need it. Very stylish design as well.

Very easy to assemble the instructions walk you though it. Looks even better then the picture and perfect for records.

Nice cabinet. It is well built and strong. It can hold a lot of books or heavy items.

Surprisingly nice piece considering it's one you have to assemble. Definitely not a cheapo product. Heavy, solid and sturdy. Color is just as expected. Beautiful rich walnut coloring matches perfectly with a real walnut framed mirror I have. I will be purchasing the matching end table. Highly recommend this piece.

Smell from this furniture is sickening, likely due to use of formaldehyde (warning label attached to it). We put it outside to vent, but it's not going away. Takes hours to assemble due to many small parts, some quality issues with stain are visible.

Starting new remote full time job. Therefore, needed home office. I wanted to order from furniture store, however, excessive wait times. Alot of options for quick furniture, however chose this as was wood. Great color, just as shown on website. Wood is solid and heavy. (Kinda soft and subject to dings.) This did have new furniture smell others complained about, however, I unpacked and let aired out a day before assembling and aired out by next day. Assembly instructions were very good and followed the instructions which made things go well. The locking screw/bolt they use made assembly pretty easy. Used a flat head and the other type screwdriver and their special key tool, so minimal addtional tools needed. There are fake wood panels for the back of the unit, however, I chose to leave them out. These shelf sized are about 13" X 13.5" wide and go back about 15 " each. Pretty nice size! The three drawers at the bottom are about the size of a pack of paper. There are imperfections, like the missed dye on the edge of the foot. This suited me fine, as try to live by "good enough" and not by perfection. One caveat, I assembled this myself. However, to turn the bookcase upright I had to find two strong men to turn it over to make sure I did not break the mid century modern legs, which I love. Overall, very happy with my decision. Also, I really liked the Hollander desk and went with that. The colors are pretty close with the Harper bookcase having a little more yellow highlights. Overall, I would buy again to meet my pressing need for quick office set up.
