I purchased two in red and blue for my 4 and 7 year old boys, they have additional needs and have struggled to understand and come to terms with the loss of their new baby brother in November and as they love consoles I thought id buy these to keep them distracted from our loss to make it a little easier for them, however, both devices crackle while charging, the screen quality is awful and once your about 1-2 minutes into a game the consoles crash and you have to restart them so you can't make any progress on a single game. Would NOT recommend, will be making a complaint and requesting full refund ASAP!!

This is very cool, the joystick needs a bit of breaking in, but the games selection is really old school arcade classics, some are doubled up so when is say 89 closer to 80 they are doubled up by being extra or super etc but essentially the same game, dont get me wrong this is ok, the controller could just do with being a tiny bit bigger. the best part is this will come with us on holiday with the kids all the time from now on really portable, plug it into AV socket and away you go, if i were to make this better it would be to put in a tiny pad like the old master system control pad rather than thumb stick but that is my personal preference

Got 2 of these on a lightning deal. Had a very quick play on both just to check that they work fine. The graphics aren't great but can't expect much at this price. Plenty of games to keep the boys occupied. Can't attest to battery life.Be advised that there are 2 versions of this console, 1 that has a rechargeable battery, the other uses 3 x AAA batteries. I ordered one in green and another in red, and these are rechargeable. Charge port is micro USB so majority of phone chargers should work fine. One disadvantage with the rechargeable battery is that it's non-standard, so if it runs out of juice and there are no power sources around, then you're stuffed.May update this review later once the boys have had a good play on them over Christmas.UPDATE: This has been a big hit for both children and adults alike. Battery life is great too. My 2 boys have spent far more time playing on this little games console than all of their other Christmas presents combined.

The unit itself is durable and easy to use.The amount of games and the standard of them is good. Mario and Pac-man are the classics and current favourites for our boy.Easy to connect to the TV and can be played whilst charging.Sound quality is better than I expected from such a little console.Would recommend to anyone wanting to get their children into gaming but feel the latest tech is a bit too much to start with. We even prefer this to the game boy we have.

I wasn't expecting the quality to be as good as it was. It was comfortable to hold, the screen was bright and clear and had a screen protector on which different consoles like this dont have, the speakers can go rather loud for such a small console and it does exactly what it says it does. Great gaming from the past and a great little stocking filler also It arrived 2 days before the actual due date which made it even better

Looks brilliant online but when you get it is tiny it looks cute big in the child's hands to see them working it. But the screen is tiny as is the unit. Not impressed at the moment with its size its a Christmas present so i do not know how it works yet so it may remember itself. When my grandchildren use it. On looking at it it looked the size of there leapfrog units

My grandson loves this, I gave him for his 6th birthday and he hardly puts it down. So it's a thumbs up from me...!!!

Good console. It has got variety of games in it. It was gift to my sis kid and he loves it. He is into it all the time.
