Fun server for a beginner
I bought this because TeamViewer started to suck and I wanted to setup my own RustDesk relay to remote into my various computers that i use for work and entertainment/gaming. It works amazingly for this. I think spending ~$200 on a server just for that is a bit much, so I also am using it as a home media server and purchased a case/cooler/HAT combo to accommodate an NVMe. I love this and it was a fun project to setup and get running. Good introductory server for someone that's (like me) somewhat IT inclined but doesn't have a degree in IT or work in the field. Something I was surprised about initially when I got into this is that this is a headless server, meaning that there is no GUI - you essentially remote into the server from a computer (Windows for me, but Mac would be fine, too) via the ssh command in a terminal. No heat sink is provided so, again, buy a case that suits your needs.

Great Combo, Decent Price.. for Amazon
Secure excellent packaging for the Pi and the CanaKit 45W plug-in is extremely versatile and ability to power projects that require it.The build quality of Raspberry Pis is always phenomenal, made in the UK.Setting up is easy, I use the Pi cooling fans and heats inks and my other units in Argon cases keep it cool and noise is minimal. You can do so many different things with a Pi. Although sometimes you get hardware that is DOA but that's just part of building your own hardware. But with all the other hardware and software configurations, the potential to do so much with these little units is incredible.literally the size of credit cards!I'll be back to update after I set it up with my Hailo for update.

The best Raspberry Pi yet and worth it for my work style
What's better than a RPi5 with 8GB? A 16GB model of course! They are priced rather high but being Raspberry Pi 5's the capabilities provide value for the money. In my case, I kind of needed more memory due to having dozens of Chrome tabs and multi different programming IDEs like Visual Studio Code and Arduino IDE. My 4GB RPi5 couldn't handle that workload at all. The 8GB didn't hang quite as much but it often gets incredibly slow and often got more dysfunctional over time. The RPi5 16GB works pretty smoothly with my inventor's work style.

The tiny beast that thinks it's a desktop!
this thing? it should not be allowed to be this powerful and this small. raspberry pi 5 with 16gb is like giving a squirrel a rocket launcher—overkill, but in the best possible way.i slapped an nvme on it, overclocked it (because why not?), and suddenly i’m running containers, local AI models, and pretending i’m building skynet. this is not your grandma’s pi. well, unless your grandma codes—then yeah, maybe.cooler’s necessary unless you want to cook eggs on it (not a joke, i tried). but once it's set up, it runs smoother than most laptops i've owned. linux installs fly. gpio’s still there if you want to blink lights or rule your smart home.bottom line: if you’re even thinking about grabbing one—just do it. the 16gb gives you breathing room for the weirdest, most ambitious projects you’ll definitely start and maybe finish.want to gear this toward students, homelabs, or makers? i can tailor it more.

Amazing thing for my projects
One of my favorite things to use. Started using them for work, and had to pick up some myself. Easy to setup, and you can do plenty of things with it. I bought the 16 for more power and speed, I would recommend buying a heat sink for one of these though. Amazing value for what it is.

Pi's opens up so may possibilities and they don't break the bank to play with.
I actually bought 2 or the 16GB Pi5's for future projects like PiMiga v5 when it comes out and the other is just to have for when a project arises. Raspberry Pi's are nice little boards that have a world of potential. I actually have old Pi's in my server rack to just for projects of interest or burn and test cards for family members.
