Good value
I have an older HP Envy laptop that is still very serviceable. The original hard drive croaked about two years ago, and replaced it with a solid state unit. It has an older Core i7 CPU and runs Windows 10 without problems so it was worth saving. I teach on-line and was using it as my primary computer for all of my virtual teaching needs. As such, it was always plugged into power and functioned more like a desktop than a laptop. Because of the recent increased on-line work load—Covid-19—I decided to replace it with a more robust tower, but keep it because of its portability. When I took it off of the wall plug I discovered the battery was toast. The price point of this OEMbattery was far below an HP factory battery. It fit perfectly, took a full charge and holds it charge as well as the original battery, perhaps even better.

So far, so good
I've only had this battery pack for a couple of weeks. It was purchased to breathe life into an old HP laptop. The old battery wouldn't hold a charge and the laptop got a bit wonky running only on the AC power supply. This isn't for a new laptop. The one we have is probably 7 or 8 years old and is no longer our first computer. Most of my work is done on a relatively new desktop and this laptop was being repurposed into something I can take on the road when I travel. I'm retired, so state of the art isn't necessary. All that said, this battery pack arrived, got plugged in to the laptop with about a 60% charge showing. Within a couple of hours on the power supply, it showed 100%. Since then I've cycled the battery a couple of times and it seems to hold a charge at least as well as the original pack did in its heyday. There's not a lot else to say. These things aren't sexy and they aren't going to turn an old laptop into a speed demon, but in my case, this battery pack is keeping and old reliable machine in use well beyond what was expected of it. It will keep my laptop useful for checking email and surfing the web and a few light apps when I'm on the road for hopefully another 3 or 4 years. For the price, it was well worth it!

First battery died, second one is going strong.
My 17 year old nephew asked for a new battery for his laptop for his birthday and I looked around and found this one. It worked fine but stopped working after a couple months. I didn't even bother to contact the seller. I bought another one and had it sent straight to my nephew's home because he needed ASAP. I probably should have looked around for a different battery but he was happy with this battery while it lasted. The new one is fine. It doesn't have as much battery life as his OEM one but it is sufficient for him. It fits well and has been working as it should. Somewhere along the line, I decided to write to the seller and just let them know what happened. Not for a refund or anything, just so they knew. They responded quickly saying the battery was covered by the warranty and to send the old one back and they would refund me. But....My sister in law recycled the old one and no longer had it. Still the seller refunded me $20.00. That's great customer service.I am now waiting to see if this new battery keeps on working past the three or four month mark. So far, it is doing fine but the last one was too and then it just stopped working with no warning. Should the same thing occur, I will update immediately and rerate. For now, I am happy with the purchase and the service. This battery is not quite as good as an OEM one but it gets about 4 to 4.5 hours before pooping out which my nephew feels is fine.

Notebook Battery for HP Envy
Perfect replacement for the new 20-second install. It was 58% charged and took only a few minutes to top it off.

Solid Battery
Got tasked with refurbing several small laptops, this was one of the parts needed. Stable replacement, no issues after preliminary charges. Will add/edit in a few months if anything changes.

Horrible battery life
This battery is ridiculously bad. Installation and removal is very easy, which is a good thing because you’ll have to remove it soon after installing it. I charged and discharged it several times as per the instructions on the Amazon product page. The instructions that came with the battery said absolutely nothing about needing to do this. The computer could never determine an accurate % charge and the battery would just die without warning. Just now, after having been plugged in for two full weeks, I unplugged the battery. It said it was 78% charged and would run for almost 3 hours. 10 minutes later the computer just quit with no warning. It’s obviously not charging. I’ll be reinstalling the original 11 year old battery, which works much much better than this one. Hopefully I can get my money back.
