Beautiful tree!!
My roots were pretty dry by the time I got my package but the leaves were bright green and healthy. You may want to ship with wet cardboard wrapped around the roots. It’s been a couple of weeks since I repotted my tree. It’s healthy and beginning to slowly stretch upward! Love it! Great purchase!

VERY well packed - very helpful service - GREAT tree!
My tree arrived very very well packaged. It was a bit chilly being that it came to IL in the middle of winter but thanks to fantastic packaging and them sending a very healthy, lush tree - it didn't take long to perk back up! The tree did go into shock a bit but when I contacted Brighter Blooms they were FANTASTIC about giving me advice and tips to help it settle in nicely. It perked right back up and I couldn't be happier! I ordered another tree from them and had the same FABULOUS experience!

If I were at a store, I would have picked one of its siblings instead...
The tree is exactly as advertised, except that it looks like a caterpillar was shipped with the tree. Most of the leaves look like swiss cheese. I gave it a once over, looking for pests and couldn't find any. It could have been shipped like that, I'm not sure. The reason I'm giving 4 stars and not lower is that despite the leaves, the tree looks healthy, and I see no reason it shouldn't bounce back. This is a tree that I can't buy around here, so I was limited with my options. It's alive, it's about 2.5 feet tall, and I'm really excited to see how it does.

No fruit for me
I received a 22inch twig that needed a dowel to support it to stay upright. This is not a tree; there were no branches and fewer than a dozen leaves. And unlike the ad and photo used to sell this product there will be NO fruit this year— or probably next.I was willing to pay a premium for a more mature plant closer to fruit bearing but this twig was not living up to the promo—“fruit this year”. I returned the “tree”

Very nice tree
This tree is a lot of fun to watch grow. I have it indoors at a window and with a grow light. I wait patiently for a sign of new leaves and, hopefully, blossoms later on. I am obsessed.

Tree Didnt Survive
UPDATE-4-19-24 REGARDING THE BELOW REVIEW-- Brighter Blooms offered to refund the purchase price of the Tree that did not survive even though the "warranty" period was over. I did purchase a replacement tree and will update along the way of growth. Brighter Blooms was VERY proactive, customer friendly and courteous.ORIGINAL REVIEW - Received tree in short time after ordering. Looked healthy. It did bounce around in the box it was packed in and lost much of the soil around the ball root. However looked good. It concerned me because of the winter cold months shipping. Without dirt on the roots did the tree face some freezing temps??Planted in new container with new growing soil and began the progress of growing. Tree appeared to pucker up and look vibrant. Some buds began to flower. Then we noticed buds began to flounder and some leaves toward the top began to fall off. We purchased a dirt humidistat to check soil dampness so not to over or under water. Leaves continued to fall off until all gone. Approx a 60 day period from order to death? We have other plants in the same vicinity of the office with good sunlight from the south. No problem with others. So I just ordered a second tree from this vendor, as maybe it was not the tree quality, but we are willing to try again. This time I purchased a 3-4 foot tree instead of the 2 foot tree. Maybe the root structure of the larger tree will be more vibrant and hold up to the travel and transplanting. Will update in a couple months.

Well packaged, made the trip!
The plant was in great shape when I got it. Packing was great and she made the trip in harsh winter conditions. No bugs or other problems.I've repotted her and she's thriving as of now (1 month later).Highly recommended.
