Comfort
Fitted a set to my touring bike, not as an aid to wringing every last mph out of the steed, but to give a different riding position when on tours. They work. Apart from the extra couple of mph you gain like it or not, the position when in use is really comfortable, gives your back, shoulders and rear end a break. Worth mentioning they do take a bit of getting used to, so get practice in on straight smooth roads with plenty of clear vision ahead. Not a good idea to use when on group rides if everyone is bunched up. It's possible to rig up a drink bottle with straw poking out the top in between the bars, which is very convenient. Can also be used to attach luggage to (there are a few companies making luggage specifically for them). Also, use handlebar tape on the grips - comfort.

Comfortable
As you can see in the photo, I bought these to make a custom bullhorn handlebar setup. I have a normal stem, a cut section of 31.8 alloy seatpost and these aero bars with Shimano trigger shifters and two sets of Tektro brake levers for short pull caliper brakes. I have done a couple of hundred km on them in a few rides so far and find them very comfortable. The foam pads are nice and thick. I have put foam grips from Decathlon on the ends. I have a different s-bend pair on another bike and find the s-bend uncomfortable. These j-bend ones result in a more relaxed wrist angle and are just right. They seem solid enough. Can’t find any obvious fault with them.

Good bars
Light, east to mount and adjust, with a number of position and height options. Good value for money. I bought these for bike packing and they’ve done the job.

Loose pads
After 3 uses, the pads are completely loose. Not recommended at all.
