Love it - revolutionary approach to teaching, presenting complex concepts
This book is a game-changer for neural networks and AI enthusiasts. It takes a revolutionary approach to teaching, presenting complex concepts in a simple and engaging manner. The book is filled with colorful diagrams and illustrations that make learning accessible and enjoyable. I’ve read several other books, but this one stands out. It’s not a beginner’s guide, but once you grasp the early concepts, it takes you to a whole new level of understanding. I will give it 10 stars if I could.

Visual learners will love this
This book is amazing for the visual learner! I've taken numerous online classes that use animated videos to explain deep learning concepts visually, but this book accomplishes the same thing in print! I've also purchased deep learning books with pages and pages of formulas and hardly any illustrations. My brain can't process symbolic math without a picture. Kudos on creating something truly unique and super valuable.

Advanced math skills required
If you do not have a firm grounding in math, specifically statistics, this book is NOT FOR YOU!Adding cartoon characters and lots of graphics does not translate to effective communication.Suggestion to Dr. Starmer - your AI-related books need better contextual hooks and could benefit from an upfront glossary and high-level graphical treatment so that concepts like back propagation have a better chance to be understood vs the current format of starting with the statistical underpinnings. It is rare for me, but I returned both books.
