Carries so much and still fits under an airplane seat
I bought this for a New Years trip to Hawaii after finding out that United wouldn’t allow carry on bags and their under seat space is very small. I was able to pack 5 days worth of clothing accessories. It was durable and comfortable. After that, I’ve been using this backpack to pack all my office equipment when I’ve had to travel between family homes. This is the best backpack I’ve ever owned.

I love the Travelpro backpack, but the shoulder strap is beginning to fray.
The Travelpro backpack is the perfect carryon for air travel, but after only 2 1/2 months of use, the right shoulder strap at the backpack is beginning to fray.

Works exactly as expected.
I also have the Travelpro 25" spinner for International travel ( love it) and the Marquis 21" for carry on ( almost love it - just reviewed it ) so this is the third part of the set. It holds a LOT of stuff - had my laptop, books, electronics, food, water, etc. - with room left over. Yes, it fits easily under the seat and it's easy to access whatever's inside. Well padded straps and solid construction. I expect it will hold up well.

A solid bag with some small flaws
This is a truly solid bag and I'm definitely pleased with it out of the box. When you receive it at first it appears quite small, but can expand to a surprising degree and has had no problem accommodating all my stuff. The construction is sturdy seems quite durable, and the straps themselves are quite comfortably padded and easy to adjust. There are two little flaws with the bag that knock off a star though. The first is the zippers. On my old Travelpro bag that I'm replacing, each zipper track contains two zippers, allowing you to keep the bag closed with the zippers on top for easy access. Also, having two zippers gives you some backup in case one breaks. However, on this bag, each zipper track except the rear pocket only contains one zipper, meaning that you MUST zipper all the way over to the right bottom in order to close the bag. A minor grievance but a second zipper would have been nice. The second gripe is with the straps. The straps are attached to the top of the bag using nothing more than two stitched fabric strips. Granted, the fabric is sturdy and Travelpro has proven to be excellent at stitching (my previous bag lasted me for a DECADE of constant daily use and none of the stitching severely tore until year 9) so I'm confident this will last for several years, but it's a clear vulnerability in the design that will shorten its lifespan. That being said, this is definitely a very nice bag. The construction and design are solid and there's plenty of space for your odds and ends. I would certainly recommend this bag to anyone looking for a cost effective and durable daily use backpack.

IT WILL FIT THE 2020 DELL XPS 17" !!!!
I just received the bag today, so I can't write a review on it's durability just yet. But I want everyone to know the Dell XPS 17" fits flawlessly in it with still some wiggle room! It isnt because the bag compartment is too big, it is because the dell xps 17 was basically built in the frame of a 15.6 inch laptop, but with virtually no bezel on the screen... so it is the size of a 15 inch laptop with a much bigger screen.I'm writing this because I google searched everywhere if the bag would fit the xps 17 and I couldn't find the answer anywhere so I was nervous. The reason I went for this travelpro backpack though is because I am a flight attendant and I wanted it to match my travelpro carry on and travelpro tote. I wouldve just returned it if it didn't fit my laptop but I'm glad I don't have to.**this bag will NOT fit other 17 inch laptops!!!! The xps 17 is built smaller but remains a 17 inch laptop. It doesn't make sense so you'll have to watch a YouTube video about the computer to see what I'm talking about**Will write a review on durability soon- hopefully I will not have an issue with the straps tearing like others have had.

Reliable
I got this for my husband to use as personal item. It’s well made and has lots of compartments to separarte out all the essentials. I have the rolling duffle, the carry on, and 2 rolling 26 inch . Love this brand. We travel (used to and are hoping to again) a lot and they really hold up.

Shoulder strap ripped the first time I used it
My last travelpro backpack was an absolute gem. It was a high quality and professional looking backpack that maintained it's shape year after year. When the time finally came for a replacement I ordered this travelpro sight unseen. The quality of this backpack is significantly reduced compared to my older Travelpro backpack. This bag is good looking and was comfortable to wear. However the materials felt cheaper and one of the shoulder straps started to tear the very first time I wore it. The shoulder straps on this bag attach differently than on higher end Travelpro backpacks. This model has a thin cheap strap that is covered with a padded piece to make it more comfortable. Unfortunately, the design didn't last a single trip for me. I cannot say if it is a poor design or poor QC or both. When mine tore it probably had between 7 and 8 pounds of cargo inside it.The zippers on the front compartments also only have 1 zipper pull. That makes it more of a hassle to operate when trying to get into the pockets if the bag is on the floor or under the seat of a plane. If I could have seen this bag in person before buying it I would have passed. It is at best a $30 dollar bag with a Travelpro name on it.If you want something from Travelpro that will last and is high quality you need to go up in the Travelpro line from this backpack.

Nice
Good size for my use. Seems well made, zippers feel like they will last, though I've only use it once.So far quite happy ! Recommended.
