Valuable resource for my library
I was very impressed by how thorough the scientific information is in this book. My only complaint would have been that in the detoxification chapter, he didn't go into depth on the detox methods he recommended at the end of the chapter, but he explained each of them in more depth in the final chapter, so I was happy with the depth of information presented.A lot of times, in a book like this, I find the recipes unusable due to not being able to modify them to exclude foods I'm sensitive to. Many of his recipes are not only easy to modify, but use ingredients I already have, so I don't have to go out and buy a bunch of specialty ingredients I've never heard of. I tried one of them today, and it was simple and absolutely delicious.The jury is out on whether the program works, but I've been on it for about 4 days, and I can already feel differences in my body. Most notably, I'm warm again while at rest after several years of being cold constantly to the point of having to wear sweatshirts and blankets year round.One thing to note is that the author recommends lots of products that are quite expensive, so it would have been nice to hear his recommendations for alternatives for those on a budget. Not everyone who wants to take control of their health is a YouTube millionaire, and it was frustrating to see that all of his "hacks" were out of my price range. I'll still work the plan without them, and the same goes for the usage of organic grass fed everything. When you're metabolically unhealthy, I have to believe that any positive changes are worthwhile, even if you can't double your grocery budget every week or spend $500 a month on supplements.If you're interested in the science of metabolism, this is a great book with step-by-step instructions and a 30 day plan to kickstart your new healthy lifestyle. The author is clear and writes in a conversational, yet factual, tone that is easy to read and accessible to people like me who are not super science-y. Highly recommended.

Keto Diet Works!
The book is well written and has receipes included. I have been on an intermittent fast for 3 weeks and lost more inches than weight but satisfied with the results. I just need to up my cardio and weight baring exercises. I have more energy and more focused. My digestive issues have resolved. While on this fast I drink plenty of water with a lemon slice and a pinch of sea salt. It keeps me hydrated, my electrolytes balanced and lessens the hunger pains.If I go on a strenuous hike, I make sure to bring with me water with electrolytes. I use Dr. Bergs Cucumber & Lime electrolyte power, because I enjoy the flavor and it works.Being on this diet can cause constipation, so a good remedy is 2oz of water and a 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda. Otherwise, you can use Epsom salt but the taste is awful.Thank you Ben for the free zoom sessions you offered. The information you provided was helpful and included in your new book.I didn't join the Ketocamp, because I only needed to lose 20 lbs. I'm close to my target now. I had blood work drawn that were recommended in your zoom sessions to use as a baseline.I would recommend this book to anyone who is serious about losing weight and restoring your metabolism.
