My husband is the chef in the family- and he has just about everything he can ever want for cooking in the kitchen. Then one day I heard him complaining because he can’t easily get as much fresh cracked pepper as he wants because it hurts his hands. He’s getting older and has arthritis now. Well, I had been looking for a Christmas gift for him- so I popped on amazon and saw these. They showed up on time and he was very happy when he opened his gift. I love them too. They are attractive looking, are made well and they work really well. I’m going to buy a set for my mom now too. Love these things!

I held off on doing a review to see how this product performed, and I'm glad I did. The salt grinder doesn't work anymore the electric motor isn't strong enough to turn the grinder part. The motor is making a strange noise. Purchase 8/08/2018 it lasted till 1/23/2019 and it wasn't use that much,perhaps that's why it lasted as long as it did. Wouldn't purchase this product again. I even got one for a friend and the salt grinder is already stopped working for her.UPDATE: purchased a new set of electric grinders and the lid was missing from one of them and Amazon made it good, because of the missing part, Amazon made it good, they got on it promptly, and made sure we were happy customers. I love shopping where they stand behind the products they sell. Update only use the salt you purchase with the grinder.

Easy to use and looks nice! I love using this!!Many friends and family have asked where to get it.When I did have one stop working a day after the returnable date, the seller replaced the whole set free and checked back to make sure I had received the replacement and if there were any other problems. Great customer service!

When I first purchased these in 2018 I loved them, and still use the pepper mill. However, the salt grinder stopped working. I can only assume the gears (Not the grinder) in the unit are plastic and have stripped. Similar to what I have read on some other comments, the motor still “works” but no longer turns the bar that moves the actual grinder. I disassembled all of the grinder parts and cleaned them to ensure they turned effortlessly, but as soon as I put it back together and loaded the salt it immediately failed. I did notify the company and asked if they would replace but they were unhelpful. I am a bachelor and do not cook that often so the mill was used rarely over the timeframe that I have had them. Unfortunately they are just junk with plastic gears that WILL fail. Do not expect them to last very long, especially if used regularly. Highly recommend that you look elsewhere for something of better quality or you will likely be purchasing new mills every year (or more often).

Very good first impression. Grinds pepper very good. Had a set that wouldn't grind pepper. Motor seems powerfulenough to grind pepper & salt. Time will tell if unit will last. I would recommend this set. It is a very good looking set and the stand makes the set very easy to move around. Also it has cups on bottom of grinders to keep salt & pepper off counter or table. UPDATE: 5-13-19 one of the mills seems to have short in turn on button. Some times it works and sometimes it doesn't. When I turn battery compartment knob open and closed it will work. But next time I use it may or may not work. The one I have pepper in works fine.

I received these a few months ago but didn't immediately use them. (I had to buy peppercorns) Once I got them, the one with the salt in it worked perfectly. The one with the pepper, not so great. I voiced my concerns to the sellers and they immediately sent me a replacement. I'm very happy with the product and the quick resolution to my issue. Recommended...

UPDATE: DO NOT BUY. Used the set only a couple times and now the Pepper Grinder does not work. It "whirrs" but doesn't grind. Nothing is stuck in the grinder. I see where some people have had luck getting broken units replaced but Amazon won't do anything to replace or refund. Expensive paperweights now.So glad I purchased this automatic salt & pepper grinder set. I recently broke the salt grinder in my current set and searched for a suitable replacement. I like that you can still control the grind/coarseness of the salt and pepper. Best part is the stand it comes in. Easily transportable from the RV to picnic table!

Easy to use with the salt it is faster but with the pepper it is a bit slower so it’s harder but in general they work very well. Just open carefully when you have to recharge with more salt or pepper. It is a bit fancy but I love it. 😃
