Nova 25kg Black Concrete Parasol Base

Great product, great service! Delivery was fast and the base works perfectly! Very heavy and very stable! We have quite heavy gusts of window, but the base, with a 6 ft umbrella has not moved an inch! Convenient that it is concrete, so no mucking about ,filling the base with water or sand! Great product, simple, does the job all at a very good price! Highly recommended!!

Bought this to hold a 2.7m parasol which is has a 38mm diameter that I had bought on here. It easily does the job, even on a windy day. This feels much heavier than 16kg and is very stable. The locking nut for holding the parasol in place is a hand tightened wheel that closes a bolt onto the parasol pole. You have to be careful not to overtighten if you have a hollow pole parasol. Keeping the locking bolt oiled or sprayed with some maintenance spray to keep it free from rust will help it last for years.

Bought 2 of these for my new patio. Good quality, easy to assemble. They are heavy/sturdy. I needed help to carry outside after delivery.

Cane damaged. Company quick to replace should last years as heavy & sturdy.

Still trying to return another (slightly cheaper but misrepresented on the website) parasol base. I know water-based parasol bases are popular but my life is so nuts, I really can't be dealing with yet another thing to maintain. (You have to put bleach in them to prevent mould and I do not want to pour that stuff out into my garden or down the rainwater drains.) You can't go wrong with this base. (It's also 16kg compared to the other brand which was 11kg and £6 cheaper. Trust me: when the wind blows, you want this one.

Looks good. However, the parasol fell over because of a small gust of wind! I wouldn't leave it unattended. I was not expecting this as the reviews are good and the base is very heavy indeed. Fortunately, the fabric of the parasol was not damaged but it could have been the case as it landed on the corner of a small wall I have in the garden.

Very impressed with the speed of delivery for this item, especially at this time of the year when demand must be high. I have only used the base a couple of times but it appears to be sturdy. I ordered this weight as I want to be able to move it and I can confirm it is easy to move around.

A REALLY GOOD BUY I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS ITEM.
