Highly giftable, beautiful set
These are priced right at the current market value, so if buying for resale; forget this deal. However, they are beautiful. The mint sets were shipped in envelopes with uncirculated coins from both Philadelphia and Denver mints, but proof sets are made with a mirror finish and produced by the San Francisco mint. The presentation case is one indicator that this is a proof set, as is the six coins (rather than 12 in the mint set). These sets sold for $12 in 1982, and are currently trolling along at about $3.50 on the resale market. Therefore, buy this beautifule set for yourself or as a gift.
