Great little unit! What are you waiting for?
If, like me, you have a long run from your water heater, this little jewel is a must have. Easy install under the sink gives one all the hot water you'll need. It takes one second for the water to be either warm or scalding, depending on the setting you choose. I'm a retired nail-belt wearing contractor, energy certified in frozen Minnesota, and know a few things about energy: how not to waste it, and how to work with it to make life better. This under-sink heater makes achieving those goals a very simple task.

heats water fairly quickly and has nice digital temperature display.
Kweetle 2.5 gallon instant water heater under sink. Inlets are ½” MPT but too large for normal FPT adapters found in USA hardware stores. Need special ½ FPT to 3/8 compression thread adapter to fit USA flex hose fittings for normal sink. Beduan ½ FPT to 3/8 MCT adapter shown as option on Amazon with this heater. Comes with rubber washers to seal. Must purchase this or similar to allow heater to hook to USA sink faucets. Safety valve 1/2MPT is very loose in the heater 1/2FPT so need about 10 wraps of Teflon tape to seal. After hooking everything up and checking for leaks turned on water to fill tank and purge air. Then plugged heater in and digital display came on showing temp of 75F. Turned the control dial to just below halfway and temp increased to 120F before auto shut off. Ran hot water and temp dropped to 105F before heater came back on. This is quite a swing and would be better to control temperature in a narrower range like 2-3 degrees F. Like the digital temperature output. Cons the non-standard pipe thread sizes and the poor temperature control. My previous under sink water heater lasted 11 years so pretty good for my area. Really like having instant hot water at sink for washing dishes and for input to my dishwasher. Beats waiting over a minute and wasting 1.5 gallons without the heater. Will see how long this product lasts. So far satisfied.

This is too good to be true
I cannot believe how easy this heater was to install. But more than that the price of the heater is so small considering the benefits that it is giving me. The rotary dial on the front of it is a bit of guesswork to set up as it does not light up when turning it but after adjustments are made to the temperature then it clearly shows the temperature that it is giving out. I have the unit free standing at the moment as I want to see how it is going to work out.You will need to buy 1 extra flexible pipe to suit your water input system and probably an adapter to change your existing flexible pipe to suit the water heater 3/8 input. When screwing in the supplied pressure release valve you will need to use a lot of the ptfe tape to ensure that you get no leakage. I had to do this 2 times due to a slight seeping around the thread.Run the water before plugging the power in. When it is full raise the release valve lever for an instant to let any air out plug in and you are ready to go. 30 minutes start to finish. You will also probably need a 2 or 3 way electrical adapter if you are using the dishwasher plug..This is only my second day of use so if it fails me I will alter this review as needed

Great for off-grid
Better than burning propane.I bought this to operate a sink and dishwasher machine for my off-grid earthbag home. I couldn't be happier. The 1500 watt heating element is only ever on for a few minutes a time. Even on my smaller solar setup I always have hot water. Plus it's inches from the sink, so no senseless draining waiting on hot water to arrive. It's near instant. No hassle.Highly recommended.

Nice to have instant hot water
The operation of this heater seems to work well. Meaning it heats water and keeps it warm. Insulation seems good as outside of case is not hot to the touch. I agree with another review that the thread is not correctly tapped in the top center female connector. I put the Teflon tape around the pressure valve threads 2 wraps and screwed it in all the way to the base and it leaked. I pulled it back out and wrapped it around 8 times and still it screwed in all the way and leaked but not as much. I tightened it as much as it would go, and it now does not leak but that is not how it should install. Pipe thread is actually supposed to be tapered, threads deeper at ends and less deep as you go away from ends. The top of this is like thread on a bolt where the nut is supposed to go the length of the bolt. Another issue is the thermostat setting. I have this set to 120, it lets the water get to 112 before it turns on and it heats it up to over 130 before it shuts off. 112 feels cold and 130 burns. I would expect this to have a lot smaller range between on and off. I would like to see maybe 6 degree max difference. So 120 would range from 117 to 123. I give this a 4 because I really enjoy having the instant hot water and because it installs easy. But another make might be worth looking for.
