Wow, this fairly cheap controller is almost better then my $70 PS5 controller. Really great controller that connected with absolutely no set up and worked. It’s wireless, it feels good in my hands. It’s a little lighter weight then my PS5 controller, which I prefer the heavier one but besides that, I’m really loving this. Also looks pretty good. This is better for my sons who have smaller hands than me but also good for fully grown man sized hands. Will probably stick with this brand long term and get another for my other PC.

I used this controller in 2.4G mode and in wired mode and found it super responsive. I also found it "as good as" in bluetooth mode varying by the device I was pairing it with. I did not install special software, and found that my stock Windows 11 did not pick up the extra 3rd trigger pair which is more of a Windows problem than anything else, so no points lost there. The texture is great, feeling grippy and allowing for mildly sweaty hands to stay firm. The color is subjective, but I love this subdued blue shade. The controls feel fantastic, with the texture and responsiveness perfect for my my preferences. I use this via 2.4G with my multimedia PC, and when that's off I use it through a USB-C cable plugged into my main gaming PC. If you already know you like 8Bitdo then this is a no brainer, and if you haven't tried them I think most people would be very happy with this controller, even stacked up against units at twice or even three times the price. I have several other controllers, including different 8Bitdo models, and I think this is the one to get based on flexibility, feel, responsiveness, and build quality.

Excellent controller. No stick drift. Bluetooth connection strong but works better with the dongle. Worth every penny!

Works great. The joysticks are actually amazing. D pad isn’t anything special. I actually prefer the D pad on an Xbox controller. With this d pad it’s too easy for me to accidentally click up or down while clicking left or right. I haven’t been able to use the extra buttons yet. I wish the triggers were slightly heavier, but they’re good. One bad thing is that I’ve had this thing for like idk 2-3 weeks. After a week and a a half the left trigger started squeaking. I tried to use graphite lubricant to fix it but to no avail. I’ll have to buy some wd-40, but realistically it’s a new controller and I shouldn’t have to at all. Really nice controller. Good feel. Build quality, aside from that squeaky spring feels good. I would give 5 stars but I’ve got critiques, also I shouldn’t have to deal with the squeaky trigger. Good controller for just $30. 4 stars easy

Fantastic controller. Feels very similar to the Nintendo pro controller. Connects immediately when using the USB connector and functions fine as a Bluetooth controller

this worked amazing with my home made Bodicera station! the quality was amazing, and the connection and reaction time was super good and the battery life is super long! I loved this product!

Great controller for the price, all features work as described. It feels different in hand than an Xbox controller, but not bad. If you have large hands I could see it being less comfortable but for me this is not an issue.

This is an inexpensive controller that's very much worth the money. Quality is great and I appreciate that it comes with a 2.4Ghz dongle to avoid the issues I have with Bluetooth's connection drop-outs and lag.

Premetto di essere un videogiocatore da 30 anni e di aver giocato con tantissime consolle dal Commodore 64, passando per le varie Nintendo e ovviamente Playstation e Xbox prediligendo, di gran lunga, il gioco su pc. Di controller, in questi 30 anni, ne ho provati veramente tanti e questo è veramente ben fatto, specie per il prezzo pagato. Ma vediamo nel dettaglio il prodotto. Partiamo dalla casa produttrice: 8Bitdo produce controller da tantissimi anni ed è leader nel settore. Oltre al modello da me acquistato, in precedenza ne ho provati altri alcuni molto interessanti anche per il retrogaming sia per pc che per consolle con licenza ufficiale. Packaging: come si vede dalle foto allegate, la confezione è fatta con assoluta cura. All'interno troviamo il controller, l'adattatore USB/2.4G per connettere il controller al pc in modalità wireless, il cavo USB-A/USB-C per ricaricare il controller. Piccola nota negativa è la lunghezza di quest'ultimo cavo: se avete la necessità di giocare col controller sotto carica avete bisogno di una porta usb sul fronte del case altrimenti non riuscite a giocare. Di pregio, invece, il confezionamento del controller che arriva con la pellicola di protezione per la serigrafia dei tasti, nonché con i cuscinetti a protezione delle levette analogiche. Ergonomia e qualità strutturali: il controller in mano è molto simile a quello Xbox Series S/X, caratterizzato da una presa ben salda e comoda. Personalmente mi trovo molto meglio con questa tipologia di controller, con le levette asimmetriche, rispetto ai controller Playstation ma probabilmente è una questione soggettiva. Il controller è dotato anche di due trigger programmabili molto comodi. Unica nota negativa sono i tasti select e start (i cui simboli nel controller sono "-" e "+") posizionati più in alto di un controller Xbox e ci vuole un po' di tempo per abituarsi a cliccarli senza dover guardare il controller. Funzionalità e connettività: trattandosi di un controller wireless il suo punto di forza è proprio la connessione. Utilizzando la chiavetta USB in dotazione, l'associazione con i pc windows è immediata. In alternativa può essere associato tramite bluetooth agendo sullo switch posto nella parte posteriore del controller. Non possedendo al momento consolle Nintendo non ho provato ad associarlo con il tasto di "paring" ma se dovessi farlo con amici aggiornerà la recensione. Non ho riscontrato alcun "input lag" e la risposta del controller è veloce ed immediata, soprattutto le levette analogiche. La funzione di vibrazione è precisa e gradevole. Punto di forza è la durata della batteria. Con una ricarica si riesce a giocare tranquillamente una decina di ore. Conclusioni: acquistato per circa 35 euro è un controller "best buy". Qualitativamente simile ad un controller Xbox Series S/X a metà prezzo e con una versatilità unica. Se non cercare controller dal look accattivante e pieni di led ma cercate un controller solido, comodo ed efficace questo è il migliore. E poi 8Bitdo è una garanzia in tema di controller.
