No negatives for the price -- really nice little knife
Didn't have any fixed-blade knives and wanted to try one, so bought this on a Prime Day deal. For what I paid, I do feel like I received a very good value and -- indeed -- a really nice, versatile little knife. It's a full tang blade with a super beefy spine. The length of the blade, to me, is just about perfect for a variety of uses -- anything from every-day use, to small game hunting, even, or perhaps even as a compact bushcraft type knife.I don't personally really do "bushcraft" type outings. My wilderness mode is more like hybrid backpacker/bushcrafter. I'm not out there building 3-room cabins from twigs and what-not :-) So for my purposes I think this knife will actually work okay. It's a tad on the heavy side for its size (the backpacker part of me is always concerned about weight), but not bad, and in a way I actually really like the feel of the moderate heft. The handle of the knife is quite nice. It's different from what I was expecting, but has a nice feel to it. The ergonomics somehow just feel "right." I also do like the sheath -- the knife definitely does lock into it very securely. The belt clip that comes attached to the sheath -- eh, not something I plan to use, but it's not terrible. As something of an "entry level" (I guess) knife, I think it will serve me just fine. I mean, I'm not one to spend 3 to 5 hundred bucks on a knife that will open some boxes and see half a dozen trips into the woods each year. Though I will say that having now held a nice (enough) fixed blade, I get the appeal of owning a really fine one. So maybe someday but in the meantime I don't know that I could've done better for well under 50 bucks.

Nice size fixed blade knife
Fit and finish on Kizer knives is very good. I love this knife. G-10 is grippy and feels very comfortable in hand. Sharp out of the box. Kydex Sheath and knife have a tight fit. Easy to deploy when you want it. Good choice for an every day carry fixed blade. Steel is good. Recommend the Hare.

Bang-up Fixed Blade!
The Kizer Hare is a solid, full tang, fixed blade knife that's more than capable of handling most day-to-day cutting tasks. It has a fine feel to it that, when taking hold of it, one can certainly appreciate the build quality and craftsmanship that seems akin to a far more expensive knife. The micarta handles are also first-rate and add quite a bang-up look to the knife. I picked up the brown burlap model and couldn't be happier with the purchase. It's sharp out of the box, easily slicing paper with ease. I've also sliced through onions and carrots with the Hare without any difficulty whatsoever. It's quite adequate for small kitchen tasks! If there is a negative, I would say, and this is nitpicking, the finger choil could be just a bit deeper. That's merely a preference of mine; the Hare is still a superb knife. Cheers!

Terrific edc knife
I have a couple of Kizer folders and have been looking to get one of their smaller fixed blades for a bit to add to the edc group (I just have a few). Glad I did - blade size and shape is great for edc and pocket carry, though the handle is a bit short for my preference, it’s shaped well and the texture on the scales make it easy to get a good grip. I also like the jimping for both the thumb and forefinger. Well built and an excellent fit in the sheath. Got it for $49 (D2 steel) and consider it a very good value for the money and very happy with it.

Quality small camping knife
This is a smallish knife of high quality. It arrived well packaged and very sharp. I find it to be an attractive knife. The sheath is also high quality, with a perfect fit and knife lockup. The sheath includes an attached ferro rod. The knife and sheath would be a great choice for hiking and camping though a little heavy for the ultralight crowd. The handle fits my medium sized hand well and the stainless steel blade fits a variety of applications. In my opinion, this is a well rounded option for most nature lovers wanting to carry a small knife.

Solid construction! Great knife to carry everyday!!
I was looking for a knife that i could carry concealed, use as a tool at work and to have as a bit of personal protection. This is perfect! It’s great size, it’s solid construction and perfectly fits my large hands. Great value for the money!!

Almost perfect
Nice knife: comfortable grip, sharp, good sheath/retention. The only thing I wish they had done differently is not have smoothed out the spine jimping so much. It's so smooth it's kind of pointless, especially since the sharpened spine section is right there they could have made them a tad more aggressive.

Get it!
Just became my favorite knife. Perfect size for EDC. Came sharp and has a quality look about it. Not every handle has that expensive look just the one with the orange layer inside. Yes, the more expensive one. I’m very happy with this product.
